works to Testing and Commissioning of the entire system.

Responsibilities held
1. Installation and maintenance of Train Traffic Control centre – Computer network- Voice/Data Loggers – Electronic
Exchange – Repairing of S&T Gadgets – Using Sophisticated testing and measuring equipments.
2. Work Experience: I started my work in Southern Railway, Palakkad division as App.TCM (Tele Communication
Maintainer) on 25th Aug.1989.In my App. period I worked in Railway Telephone Exchanges(Stroger), Electronic
Exchanges, Fault control, line plant, power plant, Teleprinter Lab.(SPT Machine,Teleprinter circuits). And also worked
in MW stations.
3. From S&T Training school I understood about Auto exchange-MAX-I, MAX-II, RAX(Rack), RAX-Cabinet, T-43 Trunk
board. Then Train Traffic Control RE, HQ Equipment, Way station Equipment & RE Cables.
4. Studied about Modulation & Demodulation, Wave Propagation of Antenna, Public Addressing System & Horology. I
experienced with VHF, UHF, SSB-100 Watts. Digital Electronics, Fundamentals of Electronic Exchange, Multiplexing
Equipment, FMVFT. Microwave components, Fading, MW, Emergency control. Also studied about Medium Voltage.
5. In Phase –II Training I studied Train Traffic Control in RE area, Non RE area. I practiced about Line Plant, Under
Ground Cables, Power Supply & Battery maintenance.
6. In 1990, Dec.1st I started my service in Railways as TCM/III. Worked in Railway Telephone Exchange. Maintaining
Exchange, Telephones, Control phones, Portable Telephones. Way station Relays, new connection of telephone lines,
wireless communication and maintaining power plant.
7. In this Period I went S&T Training School for the training of Basic Electricity & Magnetism, Semiconductor Devices &
Power Supplies. Amplifiers, Oscillators, Modulation & De Modulation, Digital Fundamentals & Applications.
8. In 1993 Jan.29th I got promotion as TCM/II. That period I went S&T School for the Training of Electronic Exchange &
Train Traffic Control. Started my work in Electronic Exchange. Repairing telephones, Giving new telephone
connections through Arial line & cable. Also maintained Hot line circuits, Public Addressing Systems, Trunk boards. I
studied to maintain U/G cables.
9. In 1994 Jan.31st I got promotion as TCM/I. This period I went S&T Training School and attended Refresher course.
Studied about DTMF &PPC. Then started previous work & OFC.

10. In 2000 April 11th I received CSTE Award, 45th Railway week 1999-2000 from CSTE.
