VOCABULARY
READING COMPREHENSION AND
          VOCABULARY
The sentence has an underlined word or
                 phrase.
       There are four options under the
                  sentence.
  Choose the option that best suits the
       meaning of the original word.
It is very discourteous to intrude during
         someone’s conversation.
 A) find fault              B) be in the way
  C) disagree               D) leave quickly
It is very important to cultivate the right
               social etiquette
When in the company of others, always
        remember to agree to disagree.
   Each person has a right to have his or
                her own opinion.
Do not find fault with others. When you
     point out at anyone, remember that
       four fingers are pointed towards
                    yourself.
During a discussion you may tend
   to become annoyed or irritated.


Do not show your temper and leave the
           room quickly in a huff.

         Learn to be patient.

    concern you or involve you.


Do not poke your nose into other people’s
               affairs.
It is impolite to butt in or intrude
      when others are speaking.

Learn to listen to the view point of
              others.

Remember to say ‘excuse me’, when
