While at the school, I got to try my hand at a variety of different things. Every day was different. In a classroom, you never know what is going to
happen and everyday something different is taught. I would go to the school Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays each week from 12:00pm until 3:00pm.
On Mondays, I would go to two Kindergarten classrooms, Mrs. Markons and Mrs. Rolfes. In both classes, I helped with environmental education.
Somedays there was an Environmental Educator that would lead the class interactions and on other days it was up to the teacher and I to lead the

Students do not respect the values of teaching environmental education. Countless programs have been introduced in school systems today integrating

Environmentalism has long been accused of being a condition of the affluent – a veritable luxury of the first world condition, despite a resounding
deficiency of empirical data to support this assumption. A number of studies countering this point of view are being disseminated, potentially
dismantling these postulations (Brechin 1999; Fairbrother 2012; Ignatow 2006; Mart'inez–Alier and Alier 2012), though the cultural disparity

One approach that deals with this was proposed by Bonnet who suggested that there is no extinction and if there was god would replace it. This is
important because many people during the Neolithic and Bronze Age were not concerned with the possible environmental damage that could be done,
instead they continued to use resources and migrate when they had used all of the resources in a specific area. This was also discussed by Hughes in
'What Is Environmental History?' who stated "Humans see themselves as separate from nature, above nature, and in charge of nature." This statement
is true of modern society, but it was also relevant for the agricultural societies during the Neolithic and Bronze Age. Farming became very important in
these agricultural societies, which caused most people to settle in one place where there crops would grow and exploit the environmental supplies in
the area. This agricultural change also lead to social change because many began to form civilizations and communities around cropping regions which

The Social Ecological Model (SEM) was created to develop an understanding of the relationships between an individual and their social surroundings.
While many other models use narrowly conceived frameworks, the SEM considers multiple levels of influence. At the core of the model lies the
individual, with three levels of social influence surrounding –– representing interpersonal relationships, organizational/community influence, and
governmental policy action (CDC, 2015). Social Ecology is an all–encompassing body of work that seeks to establish theoretical frameworks by
considering the interrelations of people and their distinct environmental factors related to health and wellness (Stokols, 1996). The SEM integrates
individual approaches related to health behavior by utilizing interventions focusing on improving the physical and social surroundings. However, the
SEM goes beyond environmental change by establishing theoretical models explaining the dynamic connections between individuals and their social
settings.
The social ecological model is derived from a multitude of research areas, but ultimately stems from the biological relationships between organisms and
their environment. As such, greater attention was eventually brought towards developing an understanding of people and the social and cultural
