Title CrowdSourcing Platform for IOT Applications

Description The thesis explored the idea that a single Platform can be used for any set of IOT
devices of different Applications.
The platform comprised the Sensor Data Collection Unit, Data Processing Unit
and Visualization Unit.An IOIO OTG board has been used as a IOT sensor
node.The data is locally collected by the android mobile and sent to the server
based on the connectivity status.
The Google App engine has been used as the server(Data processing unit +
visualization unit).The security of the IOT sensor data is taken care by a unique
ID given to each sensor.

1. Digital Systems Design using FPGA, .
Analog Signal Interfacing for an FPGA and input frequency measurement:
– Interfaced an ADC and LCD display unit on a Spartan-3E
– An input signal source is applied to the ADC pins and the frequency,Time period maximum
and minimum peak values of input signal are displayed on the LCD unit Real time.
Tools used: Xilinx ISE
2. Digital VLSI Systems, .
CORDIC Algorithm Implementation.
– Cordic Algorithm has been studied and micro architecture was designed and implemented
in the xilinx ISE tool.
– Based on the result from the RTL,design and layout has been done in the Electric tool.

2. 3. Embedded Systems Design , .
Audio Spectrum Analyzer .
– An STM32 Cortex M4 Board is used for designing the Audio spectrum Analyzer. The
audio signal is taken from the ADC port and the various components of the signal are
extracted.
– The result is displayed on the on board LCD display real time.Each signal component is
represented by a band (Histogram).
Tools used: ECLIPSE
4. Incremental Motion Control , .
USB communication for STM32 Board for stepper motor Applications.
– The stepper motor control board is connected to the STM32 board through an USB port.
– The display window(GUI) is done using visual studio (vc++).The input controls to the
motor are given from this unit .The position of the stepper motor is sampled by the sensor
and sent to the board and displayed on the visual unit.

5. Analog VLSI Systems , .
Slew Rate Enhancement circuit for an LDO.
–Low-power analog driver based on a single-stage amplifier with an embedded current-
detection slew-rate enhancement (SRE) circuit is presented. By developing a systematic
way to design both the response time and optimal sizing of driving transistors in the SRE
circuit, the SRE circuit can be controlled to turn on or turn off properly.
Tools used: ELDO
6. Industrial Design of Electronic Equipment , .
Simple Power saving LED lamp with a micro-controller.
– The control board was made to control the timer using pic micro controller to control the
led lights.
– The industrial design was done in collaboration with CPDM(Product Design) and flexible
,power efficient lamp was designed.
7. Mathematical Methods and Techniques for Signal Processing , .
Echo Cancellation Algorithm using Adaptive Filter.
– The concept of adaptive filters was used to design the echo cancellation block.
– The filter was designed and the artificial echo corrupted signal was given and signal was
recovered from the corrupted signal.

3. Experience
2014–Present 1st Year Design Engineer, Auviz Systems, Hyderabad.
Developed the architecture from the algorithm for various Accelerated Linear Algebra
functions like Matrix Matrix multiplications, Dot product of vectors etc.
Detailed achievements:
Control Logic and part of Data path for the Matrix Matrix Multiplication .
