Holocaust Learning Experience
I signed up to attend a one–day professional development. The professional development was a 6–
hour workshop on how to teach The Holocaust. The workshop was held on Tuesday, November 8 at
Miami Dade College Kendall Campus from 8:30am to 3pm. The workshop presenters were Dr.
Jasmine Diaz and Dr. Lauren Gach. The Teaching the Holocaust workshop helps educators by
providing research–based evidence and detailed instruction that enhance the comprehension and
knowledge pertaining to the Holocaust. The presenters provided the pre–service teachers with lists
of books and resource accompanied with strategies to incorporate in the class.
The workshop was full of about forty–five pre–service teachers ready to have their minds fill with

Museum. The passports have a detailed history on a holocaust individual who experienced the
Holocaust. The passport goes on to explain their before, during and after the Holocaust. Each
student will be given a passport and asked to study the individual. The students will present to class
their individual. The purpose of this activity is to show the students an understanding of the feeling,
struggles, and situations these individuals went through. Therefore, giving a better understanding to
the people who lived the holocaust instead of seeing them as a statistic or number. There were six

An Informative Essay On Kendrick Lamar's Life
Intro: Kendrick had hard times and good times in his life. Also this biography is going to show you
how his life was. Another thing is will show you how he changed the world and the rappers he
rapped with.
Kendrick Lamar was born on June 17, 1987. His nickname was K Dot and his country of residence
is the U.S.
Before becoming famous Kendrick was writing stories as a child, he put to music some lyrics about
the rough Compton streets he grew up on. He rapped under the name K Dot. Lamar didn't just stop
there the excite lyrics on his debut album, caught and had the attention of hip–hop critics. As well,
with MTV naming, him the "Hottest MC" of 2012 also putting him in the company of other rappers.
Who have earned the title, including Lil Wayne, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Also by releasing a series of increasingly popular Mixtapes, which brought him to the attention of
hip hop producer Dr. Dre. Lamar's debut major–label recording, Good Kid, m.A.A.d City, was
released to great success and impressive sales for an up and coming recording artist.
One challenge Kendrick Lamar faced was when his family was directly touched by the violence of
the streets, He handled it by remaining thoughtful and safe, also he was a strong observer, even as a
child. In 2015, Kendrick released his next album, To Pimp a Butterfly, including and featuring artists
like Bilal, Snoop Dogg and Pharrell Williams, and others.
Additionally, critics took note of Lamar's verse on the song "Control," by rapper Big Sean. Even
though the track was written by another artist, Lamar's verse drew attention because of his challenge
to several other popular names in the hip–hop world, including Drake, J. Cole and Big Sean himself.
One interesting fact about Kendrick is he became an American rapper and songwriter. The good
thing is that Kendrick faced the violence like a real mature kid. Not like those kinds of those kids
who are under pressure quickly. So that's mostly about Kendrick Lamar's

their own particular items including Chrysler and HTC, and ventured into the online music industry
with its twenty twelve buy of MOG, and the consequent dispatch of an in–house music streaming

In the year two thousand and twelve, NPD Group reported that Beats ' piece of the pie was sixty

the organization was largely claimed by Taiwanese cell phone creator HTC. The organization
diminished its stake to twenty five percent in the year two thousand and twelve, and sold its
remaining stake over to the organization in two thousand and thirteen. Simultaneously, Carlyle

Comparing and Contrasting Casino Royale and The Spy Who...
My essay is going to be about the similarities and differences between 'Casino Royale' and 'The Spy
Who Loved Me'. I Will explore all aspects of each film including, Bond, the Bond girls, the villain
and enemy, special effects and the mise–en–scene.
The opening scenes are both similar yet different in both films. 'Casino Royale' starts off with free
running, a modern sport that makes the audience want to keep watching. It is dangerous, new age
and suits the film itself. It is also a sport which isn't something you can just try out at home, it needs
a lot of skill and endurance. 'The Spy Who Loved Me' however, starts off with bond being chased by
the enemy on the skiing slopes. Skiing is a very popular sport nowadays and many people ... Show

In 'TSWLM', Bond appealed more to the male audience as he was brave, clever and mischievous.
Whereas in 'CR' bond appealed to both the male and female audience. This is because Daniel Craig
who acts Bond in 'CR' is more sexy and sensitive in the film compared to the actor playing bond in
'TSWLM'. But as well as appealing to the women he also still appeals to the male audience too
because although he has a sensitive side he still has an adventurous and dangerous side to him too.
And so the character of bond is portrayed different in both films. Although his character may change
his role as Bond himself is still likewise. The role of bond is basically a man who fights villains and
saves the day. He is a secret agent working for MI6. If you were to look for a character to play Bond
the kind of things you would look out for in the actor would be as follows: tall, unique looking, fit
and healthy, young and an actor who has a low profile so he would then be a type cast of Bond.
The Bond girls are very stereotypical and are similar in both films in many ways. The typical role of
a Bond girl is to be sexy and attractive and to be like a sidekick to Bond. The Bond girls aren't
supposed to be just a pretty face though. Beneath the beauty, they are also expected to be intelligent
women that help Bond in his missions. Although both Bond girls have many similarities, they also
have many differences which have played a big part in the change of the target audience. Vesper, the

Kendrick Lamar Compare And Contrast
Kendrick Lamar and J Cole are two of the best hip hop artist of our generation. Although the two
make music about similar subjects they are completely different at the same time.
Kendrick Lamar Duckworth was born June 17, in Compton, California. Before he was born his
parents moved there to escape the gang culture in Chicago. In his early days he enjoyed writing
stories and poems. In Compton he was exposed to a lot of gang activity in the area even though it
didn't really effect him. In his teenage years he attended Compton High school where he was a
Straight A student.
At the age of 16 Kendrick Lamar came out with his first office mixtape entitled Hub City Threat:

It was on this album that he started to talk more about social problems and the things that are
happening in America.
On June 25, 2013 Born Sinner was released. The album ranked second on the Billboard chart only
coming after Kayne West's album Yeezus. The three singles he put out for this album were She
Knows, Forbidden Fruit and She Knows. On December 9,2014 J Cole released his third album 2014
Forest Hill Drive. This is his most best album to date having gone double platinum. It was so good
that he decided to make a live version of this album in2016. He was nominated for a Grammy for
the 2014 Forest hill Drive album as well.
These two artist have many things in common such both of them being nominated for a Grammy
and being XXL freshman participants. They both have three studio albums as well. There share
some of the same influences as well such as Andre 3000, 2pac, and Nas. The two also make music
about the same thing. They rap about things going on in the community and social problems. They
have both had number one songs and albums on the billboard top 100. They where also good
students in high school. The two are also good friends who love to collaborate with each

Literacy Strategies
Literacy strategies are essential for all subjects in school, as well as the necessity to use these
strategies at all ages of instruction. Too often the responsibilities of implementing these strategies,
and the outcome are placed solely in the hands of Language Arts and English teachers, who are seen
as the sole provider of literacy instruction. However, it has been shown that writing helps students
get more actively engaged in the material, no matter the subject area (Daniels, H., Zemelman, S., &
Steineke, N. (2007). This alone should be enough to convince all teachers to become literacy
teachers, as it is only through the acquirement of such literacy skills that students will find success
in their future endeavors. Especially once students ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, it would seem that many students struggle to do so. Writing strategies are an absolute
must in the social studies classroom, as writing is one of the best ways to see how the students think,
argue and formulate academic thoughts on paper.
One of the greatest ways to have students remember what they just read or learned is to have them
reflect on it. A reflective write is a way to help students reflect and be more aware of what they have
learned, and the process how they learned it (Daniels, H., Zemelman, S., & Steineke, N. 2007). It
can be formal or informal where students reflect on a task or themselves based on the information
covered in class that day. For example, if a class is covering WWII a teacher could easily ask
students to write about what it must have been like fighting trench warfare. This allows students to
take the content they learned that day, and put themselves into the middle of

Theodor & Audrey Geisel: The Legacy of Dr. Seuss Theodor Seuss Geisel was born March 2, 1904
in Springfield, MA to German immigrant parents (Morgan & Morgan, 1995). His parents
immigrated just after the end of WWI, and he was bullied in school for being a German immigrant

during WWII were likely influenced by this experience as a child. The majority of his career would
be involving politics in one form or another, and even pervaded the messages in his children's books

My Personal Career Goals : Dr. Julie K Biddle
As you have mentioned in the words of Dr. Julie K Biddle have stated Leaders are not just those
individuals with leadership degrees or leadership positions. They are educators, administrators,
parents, and others whose leadership thinking and actions promote meaningful learning. It is our
duty as educators to facilitate a nurturing learning facility offering learning through play via
developmental appropriate practices. As an educator, I feel the most valuable thing I've learned that I
feel will help me fulfill my personal career goals is to establish effective communication amongst
co–workers and colleagues first and foremost. As educators and leaders and advocates in the
education field, we must know how to communicate effectively amongst ourselves with the children
and their families as well, however when poor communication skills are practiced it cause discord
amongst faculty, staff and their families. Furthermore, I believe one of the key reasons why
organizations fail to strive and or reach their full potential is due to lack of proper effective
communication skills. When all parties are aware what is expected, what can you offer & how they
can obtain what's needed it makes transitioning and facilitating services much more easier. As
educational leaders we sometimes forget what it's like to be a facilitator or aide and we give all these
unrealistic orders and policies without taking into consideration how processes really go into effect
and what really goes into

Violence In Rap Music Essay
Boom, boom! Boom, boom! The kind of bass that drains batteries and the kind of lyrics that unload
clips, these are the sounds that rap music produces. I chose this topic because I am extremely
interested in rap music and I want to explore the violent aspect of the industry. I have never had a
chance to look at the violent side of it and I plan to find answers to questions I have in my search.
Tupac Shakur is one of my favorite artists and when he was shot and killed I really started to take
notice of the violence. People were getting killed because of an image that was being set. What I
really want to know, however, is why rappers feel compelled to graphically describe the violence.

Hip–hop wasn't a new form of music in 1989, in fact it started in 1982 with Run DMC, but nobody
was ready for this form. The police and politicians didn't like what N.W.A was saying in their lyrics,
but all of the things they were rapping about were things that were going on around them on a daily
basis. They were seeing people being shot, drug deals going down, and women being called b*tch*s.
"I remember when Straight Outta Compton came out, where I lived we could all relate to what
they were rapping about because it was our lifestyle."(Wilson. Interview). So basically art was
imitating life. But as the decade took a turn into the '90's, so did things for N.W.A. (Tha Biography
of Tha E) Ice Cube left to pursue a solo career (Ice Cube– Westside Times) and after him Dr. Dre

From the beginning Death Row Records was like a family, according to Dr. Dre. With acts like Dr.
Dre, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound, and Warren G, Death Row
Page 3 was a dominant force in rap music. Suge Knight, a former college football player for
U.N.L.V (University of Nevada Las Vegas), used his 325 lb. frame as a scare tactic. A former

The Representation of the ‘Bond Girl' Essay
Whenever there is a Bond film, there is always a Bond girl. She is as indispensable as the gadgets,
the car, the chase and the villain set on overtaking the earth.
They have always been in the centre of controversy; they have always been branded as beautiful
women (often with sexually overt names) who need Bond and ironically, Bond cannot complete his
mission without them. They always seem to have perfection in everything they do. However, this
portrayal of women can be somewhat unrealistic. Some may want the representation of the ‘Bond
Girl' to stay as it is but others may want the portrayal of the ‘Bond Girl' to depict the modern idea
of ‘girl power.'
I for one think that this representation of women is harmless, partly because it is ... Show more

Another purpose of the Bond Girl is simply to provide the audience with the right mixture of
glamour, glitz and showbiz. Their image also helps reinforce Bond's reputation of being irresistible
and in command.
Nevertheless, all that glamour usually comes with a price. Being a Bond Girl has frequently been at
once the pinnacle of an aspiring actress' career and the end of it. For example, Shirley Eaton, best
remembered for being painted gold in Goldfinger back in 1964. Nobody remembers her at all.
Nobody remembers how her husband died young and how she struggled to find other major roles
after being all gold for Sean Connery. It was the beginning and the end for her in one shimmering
moment. The Bond girl seemed a celebration of newly liberated female sexuality. However, that is
the illusion of the Bond philosophy, because when it comes to making it as an actress, all that
glitters in a Bond movie is definitely not gold. Once the public has seen you in a Bond Movie as a
Bond Girl, they automatically conclude that you are ‘dumb' because, portraying a Bond girl isn't
exactly a stretch for a young aspiring actress.
All Bond Girls come with the regular accessories, a body to die for and one that looks best in
bikinis, permanent good hair days, a weird name (e.g. Kissy Suzuki) and plus the ability to coo ‘oh
James!' as she slides between the satin sheets with Mr

Analysis of the Opening Sequences of Three James Bond Films

· Dr No (Starring Sean Connery, first Bond movie made)
· A view to kill (Roger Moore)
· Golden Eye (Pierce Brosnan)
For each of these movies I will analyse the opening scenes and explain why they are constructed in
the manner that they are.

(Dr No) James Bond is played by Sean ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He while gambling receives an urgent phone call (the conversation is not heard, this adds to the
movies suspense). The phone call as well as the camera shots emphasise his importance in the film.
The clothes worn by James Bond (a tuxedo) are very glamorous and sophisticated. They also
emphasise that he is important.
A view to kill, the second James Bond movie to be analysed in this essay, has the same gun shot
scene at the start, but the action in the movie is much better. This is probably due to the date of
release (1985). Dr No was released in 1962. The difference is probably due to more advanced
technology being available.
A view to Kill focuses more on girls and action. The camera angles used in this movie also make the
movie more exciting.
The first scene in this film shows James Bond (Roger Moore) skiing in the Arctic looking for a
microchip. He is dressed in white this may be a disguise to camouflage him (the snow he is skiing
on is white) from the villains who are dressed in green. The shots in this screen are close up shots
and extreme long shots. The extreme long shots emphasis the depth of the scene and also hide the
stunt mans face from the audience. The close–up shots are used to show discoveries made by James
Bond i.e. the micro chip.
The second scene in the opening

Dr. Pepper Case Analysis
Dr. Pepper Company
I. Case Summary
From being a practically unknown soft drink company to now being one of the highest performing
of the 1000 largest manufacturing firms, Dr. Pepper has evolved to become an international
beverage organization. Dr. Pepper began its roots back in 1880, in Waco, Texas, when a young soda
jerk invented a soft drink which he named after his father–in–law (Dr. Pepper). Robert Lazenby
began to market the drink on commercial basis in 1885, and it was not until 1922 that an extensive
sales and distribution program was initiated. The current president of the organization is Mr.
Woodrow Wilson Clements together with Joe K. Hughes who is the executive VP of the firm. The

This will ensure consumers that they are getting a greater quality at cheaper price and boost

3. An opportunity exists for the firm to venture into new product lines like energy drinks and other
culinary applications.
C. Internal Weakness
1. The biggest weakness of Dr. Pepper is that it is not diversified. The firm is finding hard to
differentiate its products from that of the competitors. The potential of firm is not being tested and
evaluated properly on which even Mr. W.W Clements says, "It would be criminal to branch off into
something else".
2. Another weakness in the firm comes from the ages of the executive officers. Most of the
professionals in the firm are growing old and close to their retirement age. Since they have a lot of
experience and may work beyond their retirement age, but it would be wise for the firm to take
young professionals under their guidance.
3. The firm is producing and wasting its effort and resources in Salute and Waco, fountain syrups,
which only accounts for one percent of dollar sales.
4. Dr. Pepper is one–brand domestic company. Lack of product diversification and differentiation,
and also because of the disadvantage against multination organizations like Coca–Cola and Pepsi
CO., Dr. Pepper is not the leading seller in any major United States market.

Movie Review : ' K Pax.
Is there really life on another planet somewhere deep into our universe? This is one of the many
questions that are brought up in the movie K–PAX. This science fiction thriller staring Kevin Spacey
and Jeff Bridges is filled with a mystery that makes the audience really question reality and
challenge their own beliefs.
The mysterious character Prot, portrayed by Kevin Spacey, who early on finds himself locked up in
a mental hospital in Manhattan, claims to be from a distant planet one thousand light years away
called K–PAX. Dr. Mark Powell, Portrayed by Jeff Bridges, is the psychiatrist at this mental
institution that examines Prot and tries to figure out how to help this particular patient. However, Dr.
Powell soon begins to realize that Prot is not any normal patient, but has some rather unexplainable
qualities that make him doubt his own explanations. Not to mention Prot's presence has a rather
remarkable effect on the mental health of some of the other patients whom believe that he is in fact
from K–PAX. While this 2001 Iain Softley film got many mixed reviews, I personally believe it
exceeds expectations. Spacey bring a unique twist to the character Prot that reminds the viewers
why he is one of the greatest actors of this generation. It is difficult to explain the performance
Spacey brings to this movie for it to be as compelling as it is. Prot, who claims to be inhuman, is an
intelligent individual who can easily describe his space travels, astounds a group of

I took notes on four main themes regarding; Bond's relationship and treatment of the women, the
roles of the women in the film (how key they were to the plot), and the social depiction and life of
their character in the film and their sexual relationship with Bond.
Through textual analysis I discovered that in three of the main themes excluding the latter there had
been significant development. Comparing two of the themes:Bond relationship and treatment of the
women and their importance to the plot in films throughout the franchise, I found that in earlier
Bond films throughout the Sean Connery era (Dr No. to Never say never again) and the beginning of
the Roger Moore era up to The man with a golden gun, generally showed Bond girls in a more
subordinate role to Bond. In Goldfinger Bond slaps a girl on the bottom and tells her "man talk!"
when his fellow agent arrives prompting her to leave, exhibiting her unimportance. Bond also tricks
solitaire into having sex with him by fooling her with trick cards in Live and let die. He also handles
women roughly, slapping them around for information or twisting their arms around their back (Dr
No.). In films such as The man with the golden gun girls such as Goodnight, is portrayed as being a

anthem to the Golden State, "California Love" as the spark that ignited his creative bonfire. Born on
June 17, 1987 to couple who moved from Chicago to Compton with only $500 to their names in
order to escape the gang lifestyle, Lamar was exposed to guns, drugs, and violence at a young age.
"I 'm 6 years old, seein ' my uncles playing with shotguns, sellin ' dope in front of the apartment."
Lamar witnessed his first murder outside his family's apartment when he was 5 years old – a
teenager gunned down while selling drugs. Although Lamar was never affiliated with a gang, his
whereabouts did put him into a few tense situations with gang members; in the song "Average Joe,"
Lamar recounts his experience being shot at by a group of Crips simply because of the
neighborhood in which he lived. But instead of being caught up in the whirlpool of gang–banging
that takes the lives of so many young Compton residents before him, he used his experiences as
motivation and fodder for exploding music career. As a kid living in one of the most violent cities in
America, Lamar kept a low profile. He made good grades in school and generally kept to himself – a
habit he would soon be forced to overcome. One example being when Lamar knew the answer to a
math problem during class, but he was too

Women In James Bond Films
Women are deemed as a "minority" yet make up 51% of the world population and in 2014 made up
only 12% of protagonists in films. And that is just on–screen, the percentage decreases as you go
farther and farther into behind–the–scenes positions such as directors, cinematographers, and
writers. Add race and ethnicity and those characters' percentages decline even more (Lauzen, 2015.)
Women in film and television are often portrayed with emphasis based on their body type and in
advertisement are largely objectified. The large objectification and misrepresentation of women in
the media has led to an offset psychological view of women from growing up to adulthood. The
constant portrayal of women as an assistant or helper in prominent is the popular James Bond films.
The main goal for "bond girls" as they are called is to "distract, tempt, or assist," Bond in whatever
his mission may be. It is important to note that there had been Bond ... Show more content on

Most of my early memories are filled with what I like to call "kid novelas" which were essentially
Spanish soap operas for kids. These novelas had many female characters, actually, all of the leads in
the novelas I personally watched were female and around the age I was at the time which was
around 9 to 13. I was very lucky to be a 9 to 13 year old at the time I was because that was when
Disney Channel and Nickelodeon had many female–led television shows such as That's so Raven,
Lizzie Maguire and Wizards of Waverly place. Wizards of Waverly place was a show about a
Mexican–American family where the three kids were wizards. It was not an entirely American show

James Bond Influence On American Films
Cinematically, Bond has been a major influence within the spy genre since the release of Dr. No in
1962,[190] with 22 secret agent films released in 1966 alone attempting to capitalise on the Bond
franchise's popularity and success.[191] The first parody was the 1964 film Carry On Spying, which
shows the villain Dr. Crow being overcome by agents who included James Bind (Charles Hawtry)
and Daphne Honeybutt (Barbara Windsor).[192] One of the films that reacted against the portrayal
of Bond was the Harry Palmer series, whose first film, The Ipcress File was released in 1965. The
eponymous hero of the series was what academic Jeremy Packer called an "anti–Bond",[193] or
what Christoph Lindner calls "the thinking man's Bond".[194] The Palmer series ... Show more

No in 1962, the line "Bond ... James Bond", became a catch phrase that entered the lexicon of
Western popular culture: writers Cork and Scivally said of the introduction in Dr. No that the
"signature introduction would become the most famous and loved film line ever".[200] In 2001, it
was voted as the "best–loved one–liner in cinema" by British cinema goers,[201] and in 2005, it was
honoured as the 22nd greatest quotation in cinema history by the American Film Institute as part of
their 100 Years Series.[202] The 2005 American Film Institute's '100 Years' series recognised the
character of James Bond himself as the third greatest film hero.[203] He was also placed at number
11 on a similar list by Empire[204] and as the fifth greatest movie character of all time by Premiere.

The 23 James Bond films produced by Eon Productions, which have grossed $4,910,000,000 in box

since Dr. No, a quarter of the world's population have seen at least one Bond film.[207] The UK

Dr. Kenneth K. Baldwin
On Monday, I went to the local Crossroads Baptist Church, located at 850 Edwards Ferry Rd NE,
Leesburg, VA. This was my first time experience as I am Hindu and my parents never exposed me to
any churches. Dr. Kenneth K. Baldwin was the pastor at the time I went. Luckily, I got the chance to
speak with him after the service. After our brief conclusion, I realized that he had a great vision for
his church and is leading it to success through his passion. I sensed his passion for preaching and
religious beliefs as they were evident during the service. Despite this being my first visit to a church,
I learned a lot of valuable things about churches and Christianity.
The pastor read the verses Philippians 2:5–11. Due to the complexity, I didn't fully understand all
the verses that were said. Therefore, I decided to talk to the pastor, Dr. Kenneth K. Baldwin, to clear
up all the questions I had. His response to the series of questions I had made the meaning of the
verses recited very clear. After talking to the pastor, my interpretation of the scripture is as follows.
Christ became just like any ordinary man and gave up his life on the cross. God sent him to heaven
for his sacrifice for mankind. Then I asked him, what did the "highest place" referred to in the text.
He went on to explain that "highest place" referred to heaven. He also said that his purpose behind
picking these lines to recite was to get the audience to think about the sacrifices Jesus made for us.
Then he went on

Kendrick Lamar : An Overview
Kendrick Lamar Duckworth, who is also known as Kendrick Lamar, was born in Compton,
California, on June 17, 1987. After writing stories as a child, he put to music some lyrics about the
rough Compton streets he grew up on. His stage name was K–Dot when he first started to get the
lime light, releasing a series of popular mix tapes, which brought him to the attention of hip–hop
producer Dr. Dre. Lamar 's debut major–label recording, good kid, m.A.A.d City, was released to
great sales for an up–and–coming recording artist. He continued to receive accolades for his 2015
Grammy–winning album "To Pimp a Butterfly".
Kendrick Lamar Duckworth was born in Compton, California, on June 17, 1987. His parents moved
to Compton from Chicago to get away the city 's gang culture, although his father was a part of the
notorious Gangster Disciples gang. When the the 80s crack trade and West Coast gang presence
increased, Lamar grew up around a lot of street activity, but he seemed to be more influenced than
scared or harmed by it. He was a good student who enjoyed writing, stories and poems, and then
came the lyrics for his music.
Lamar 's family was directly touched by the violence of the streets, yet he stayed thoughtful soft–
spoken, and a great observer, even as a child. He adopted the stage name K–Dot and began
performing his lyrics as a rapper. In 2003, at the age of 16, he released a mix tape called "Youngest

Straight Outta Compton Bio Analysis
NWA and Straight Outta Compton Bio Brings Back Old Rivalries N.W.A. (Niggaz Wit Attitudes)
defined gangsta rap in the 1980s and put West Coast hip hop on the map. During their time in the
limelight, they were constantly put down for their lyrics which glorified drugs and crime, were
disrespectful to women, showed hatred to the police, and were heavily laced with profanity. Their
music was banned from mainstream radio stations for years, but the group still sold tens of millions
of records. The original members of N.W.A were Dr. Dre, Eazy–E, Ice Cube, and Arabian Prince.
Arabian Prince ended up leaving the group first and Ice Cube left soon after due to disputes over
royalties. DJ Yella and MC Ren stepped in to replace them. The biopic movie Straight Outta
Compton attempts to tell the story of the men behind the group and the West Coast hip hop
movement. In the movie, N.W.A.'s manager, Jerry Heller, is shown to be a rat. His character is after

Essay on Theodore Geisel's Emergence as Dr. Seuss
Theodore Geisel's Emergence as Dr. Seuss
The appellation , "Dr. Seuss," has become a name that often evokes fond memories of a cherished
childhood. Entrenched in monotony of gray day when, "The sun did not shine./ It was too wet to
play," we only had to look at the grinning face of Dr. Seuss's famous cat to remind us that there was
more to do than wait as time slipped away. There was something appealing in the simple anapestic
tetrameter rhythm, coupled with nonsensical words and illustrations of outlandish creatures that
seemed to call out to the vibrant, dynamic imagination of a child.
Through over forty–two books Dr. Seuss has been able to encourage children to seek delight in

Despite the universally recognizable cat in a tall, red and white striped, smokestack hat, titles such
as, Green Eggs and Ham, and the very name "Dr. Seuss" most people know very little about the
individual who hold such high esteem among child and parent alike. In fact, one would question,
"Who?" at the very mention of the name Theodore Geisel––– the man behind the cat. As is often the
case with figures who reach the realm of mythic status in society much is lost as to their own
identity. In this study of the who "Dr. Seuss" really was, one quickly comes to learn that with such a
story of success it is simply not enough to say, "He graduated from here. He wrote this," but one
must analyze the factors that motivated such overwhelming creativity, productivity, and the social
responsibility of educating the unlearned masses of children and adult alike (for those of us who still
curl up to, Horton Hears a Who.) In developing this study, the model for creativity set up by Dr.
Howard Gardener in his book, Creative Frames of Mind will be employed, serving as a basis of
critical inquiry and analysis into the complex mind that created a "Lorax" and the "Grinch." Howard
Gardener identifies seven frames of intelligence as existing in the human mind and that humans tend
to gravitate toward one or a combination of these intelligences, which then determine the nature of a

The Lorax: The Life Of Theodor Seuss Geisel

According to Richard Stroup, a free–market advocate, there is need to reform the Endangered
Species Act to ensure that endangered species are our friends and not foes. Private ownership is the
number one problem for the Endangered Species Act(Nelson, 2006). Of all the endangered species,
especially in the US, are dependent on habitats that are privately owned. In order to avert the
problem of loss of diversity, then, the focus should be on developing strategies that effectively work
on privately owned land. Both the mainstream environmentalists and free–market advocates argue
that the current status results in persistent incentives that produce objectionable results
In summary, the Lorax story is a precautionary story that attempts to raise and inform readers of
certain important issues. However, it does not successfully characterize and effectively criticize how
renewable resources are treated by a free market. Its main theme that as humans we must not act as
the Once–ler, is correct. The conclusion of this story is somewhat weak; resource depletion is
consistent with the implicit premise of free markets. This is contrary to the principles of free market
whose virtues of the free market are focusing on the future(Miller & Cross,

Being able to relate to something or someone is the best thing that can happen to us. Reading a book
can bring us memories of how we used to be and how we felt when we first read something we were

ourselves to a character and now that we are not the only ones like that but we can relate the other
characters with our surroundings. In the book The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss, some of the few

Also the fish is treated as a family member. The fish says "... our mother..." stating how the
children's mother is also his mother (Seuss 25). This situation is comparable on how some children
and even adults see their pets as a member of their family.
Thing 1 and Thing 2 are the pets that the Cat in the Hat brings along to show a different way to have
fun. The Things are fantasy characters and are similar to the children. They both do not know how to
have fun but the children do not do any action they just sit unlike the Things they make a mess. The
cat describes Thing 1 and Thing 2 by telling the fish, "They are tame. Oh so tame! They have come
here to play..." (Seuss 37). The Things turn out not to be so disciplined nor tame they were a total
disaster. They were like little monsters running around the house destroying everything near them,
not knowing how to domestically have fun. Even though they were illustrated as a child they had
different qualities that distinguished them from a human. Since they are designated as Things it
indicates that they are not human (MacDonald 115). Also the narrator –the boy –described them as
some wild things as he saw that they were knocking down everything. Also, when Dr. Seuss
mentions that they are tame, he pats Thing 1 and Thing 2 on their head like if they were pets.

By pressing the idea of abortion as more of a human right, PPFA rallies people into believing that
they are solely concerned with the individual's right to choose. And how could one not support an

O'Bannon rebuttals. O'Bannon brings up that Planned Parenthood relies much on their abortion
services. Although the organization has claimed to only spend 3% of their annual expenses on
abortions, this only includes the expenses from only the major step itself and not all the preparation
steps one must go through before the abortion (O'Bannon). The preparation steps including STD

The James bond film series has captivated its audience for decades with eye–catching gadgets,

of actors have played James bond and many actresses have played his love interests. The male roles

Those women have little to do with the plot of the movie and have more so to do with proving
Bond's masculinity. This not only gives girls a negative image of themselves but at the same time
gives boys a negative view on women. Even the names of the women in the James Bond films are
highly sexualized. The authors of the article Shaken and Stirred say "strong potential for romantic

The Representation of Gender in Bond's Films Goldeneye and Goldfinger
There are two films in particular that I have chosen to look at that show how the representation of
gender in Bond movies has changed throughout the years. These two films are 'Goldeneye' and
'Goldfinger.'
There are many reasons that the representation of gender has changed between these two films. The
most obvious being a change in society. The two films were made thirty one years apart. Women are
now accepted as being something more that just producing babies and being there to be slept with.
Between the Bond films 'Licensed to Kill' and 'Goldeneye' a lot of changes in characters were made.

This demonstrates exactly how women's roles have changed.
We see Bond as a hero from the start of both 'Goldeneye' and 'Goldfinger' the difference being that
in the earlier film, Bond used the woman, who he is kissing as a shield to save himself from being
shot. This shows that he has a higher opinion of himself and complete disregard for women. It
shows how women are represented as being disposable.
In the later film 'Goldeneye' Bond puts Natalias life first, when the train is about to blow up. This
shows how representation of gender has changed from the earlier film. Bond now sees Natalia as an
equal and wants to ensure that she is safe before himself.
Another example of how in the earlier films women were seen to be sex objects is when Bond is
talking to a pretty blond woman, but as soon as Felix comes arrives Bond slaps the woman on the
bottom and send her on her way declaring that she is no longer required because its 'mans talk.'
In 'Goldfinger' women are there for amusement, a trophy figure. Goldfinger himself demonstrates
this himself by paying Gill to be seen with him.
'Goldeneye' shows how women are more equal. 'Zenia Onatopp' shows how women are being
represented. When racing with Bond she is equally as good. She challenges him and is very
assertive. 'Zenia' is represented in the same way as the men from 'Goldfinger.' (The men are all sat

Compare And Contrast The Lorax Movie And Movie
Children today have access to many forms of literature, some of which are books made into movies.
As the children become older, comments such as "the book was way better" or "the movie didn't
even come close to matching the book" or "the movie and book are the exact same, so save time and
just watch the movie" are heard once children begin to make connections between the book and the
film. It is important to me, as a future teacher, to be able to address such comments from my
students and, in turn, help them understand why and how movies can either help or hinder the book's
original value and message. To help me prepare, I will compare a children's film to the literary work
that came from it.
About the Book and Film: For my analysis, I chose to compare The Lorax book and film. The book
was written by Dr. Seuss and was published by Random House Children's Books in New York. This
book was copyrighted by Dr. Seuss Enterprises, L.P. in 1971 and was renewed in 1999. The book's
interest level is for Kindergarten through 4th grade, or ages 5 to 10. The grade level for this book is
intended for 3rd grade readers. The film, The Lorax, came out in 2012 and was produced by
Illumination Entertainment. The movie was directed by Chris Renaud and Kyle Balda. The Lorax
has a movie rating of PG (parental guidance). Based on my analysis, the literary work was
successfully brought to life in the film because the the film kept the book's main storyline while
enhancing it with modern side

North Korea And South Korea
Everyone has been touched by the Korean wave in some way, whether it is by having a Samsung
phone to eating Korean barbeque at a Korean restaurant. North Americans tend to think that North
and South Korea share the same traditions and customs, when in fact they are complete opposites.
Going back thousands of years in Korean culture, North Korea and South were just a part of the
country Korea. Fast forwarding to the 1950's the northern part of Korea started to become a
communist country. America swooped in and started to shape the southern part of Korea as an ally
for the United States and make them a part of the capitalist movement. After the Korean War, Korea
became divided into North and South Korea. North Korea became a communist ... Show more

Following the stock market crash, South Korea decided to export its music and television to make
revenue from other countries. "Korea is throwing all of its weight and billions of dollars into making
itself the number one exporter of pop culture in the world" (Leong). The stock market crash in 1997
left the country economically crippled, forcing the government to request a 57 billion dollar loan
from the International Monetary Fund ( IMF). The president of that time, Kim Dae–Jung, began to
think of a way that Korea could become different from other countries in order to fix its unstable
economy. Kim always was amazed with how the United States made its revenue from films and how
The United Kingdom made its money from stage musicals. (Leong) This influenced Kim to use
those two countries as benchmarks for creating a pop culture industry for Korea. Kim worked with
the notion that in order for other countries to buy into your pop culture, you had to prove to them
that your nation was cool. The Hallyu or Korean wave started in southeast Asia and has now started
its way to the United States and Europe. Now that it has made a marketing statement in the United
States its revenue has gotten even higher. "Korean pop culture exports have already gone from zero,
in the early 1990 's, to 4.6 billion in revenue in 2012" (Hong). Koreans have made much of that
revenue from their music and the

Does Money Make You Mean? By Dr. Paul K. Piff
Dr. Paul K. Piff is a professor of psychology and social behavior at the University of California,
Berkeley. In 2013 he gave one of the most popular TED Talks ever, on the topic of the effects of
wealth on personal and social psychology. The video is most amusingly titled, "Does money make
you mean?" The central claim of the video is that the idea of the American dream revolves around
having to place personal desires over those of the general population, resulting in income inequality,
and the various plights of said result. In many ways then, this videos central claim becomes 'is the
American dream ethical?' Piff goes onto discuss how the psychological ailments that come with
living a privileged life can be reversed or prevented through the power of suggestion. The results of
this can be seen through various examples of the top one percent, such as Bill Gates, deciding to
donate large portions of their wealth for the good of the world. The talk features the citation of over
six studies. The most central of these studies is a study Piff opened his TED Talk with. Piff ran an
experiment which was meant to gauge how a person's behavior changes in regards to social
interaction and food consumption, when one individual is obviously superior in wealth and
advantage in comparison to another. To facilitate this on a smaller scale, he ran a true experiment
which acted as a metaphor for society as a whole. He had 100 pairs of strangers play a game of
Monopoly. The experiment was run

Holocaust Learning Experience

  • 1. Holocaust Learning Experience I signed up to attend a one–day professional development. The professional development was a 6– hour workshop on how to teach The Holocaust. The workshop was held on Tuesday, November 8 at Miami Dade College Kendall Campus from 8:30am to 3pm. The workshop presenters were Dr. Jasmine Diaz and Dr. Lauren Gach. The Teaching the Holocaust workshop helps educators by providing research–based evidence and detailed instruction that enhance the comprehension and knowledge pertaining to the Holocaust. Another thing is will show you how he changed the world and the rappers he rapped with. Kendrick Lamar was born on June 17, 1987. His nickname was K Dot and his country of residence is the U.S. Before becoming famous Kendrick was writing stories as a child, he put to music some lyrics about the rough Compton streets he grew up on. He rapped under the name K Dot. Lamar didn't just stop there the excite lyrics on his debut album, caught and had the attention of hip–hop critics. Also by releasing a series of increasingly popular Mixtapes, which brought him to the attention of hip hop producer Dr. Dre. Lamar's debut major–label recording, Good Kid, m.A.A.d City, was released to great success and impressive sales for an up and coming recording artist. One challenge Kendrick Lamar faced was when his family was directly touched by the violence of the streets, He handled it by remaining thoughtful and safe, also he was a strong observer, even as a child. In 2015, Kendrick released his next album, To Pimp a Butterfly, including and featuring artists like Bilal, Snoop Dogg and Pharrell Williams, and others. Additionally, critics took note of Lamar's verse on the song "Control," by rapper Big Sean. Even though the track was written by another artist, Lamar's verse drew attention because of his challenge to several other popular names in the hip–hop world, including Drake, J. Cole and Big Sean himself. One interesting fact about Kendrick is he became an American rapper and songwriter. The good thing is that Kendrick faced the violence like a real mature kid. I Will explore all aspects of each film including, Bond, the Bond girls, the villain and enemy, special effects and the mise–en–scene. The opening scenes are both similar yet different in both films. 'Casino Royale' starts off with free running, a modern sport that makes the audience want to keep watching. It is dangerous, new age and suits the film itself. It is also a sport which isn't something you can just try out at home, it needs a lot of skill and endurance. 'The Spy Who Loved Me' however, starts off with bond being chased by the enemy on the skiing slopes. Skiing is a very popular sport nowadays and many people ... This is because Daniel Craig who acts Bond in 'CR' is more sexy and sensitive in the film compared to the actor playing bond in 'TSWLM'. But as well as appealing to the women he also still appeals to the male audience too because although he has a sensitive side he still has an adventurous and dangerous side to him too. And so the character of bond is portrayed different in both films. Although his character may change his role as Bond himself is still likewise. The role of bond is basically a man who fights villains and saves the day. He is a secret agent working for MI6. If you were to look for a character to play Bond the kind of things you would look out for in the actor would be as follows: tall, unique looking, fit and healthy, young and an actor who has a low profile so he would then be a type cast of Bond. The Bond girls are very stereotypical and are similar in both films in many ways. The typical role of a Bond girl is to be sexy and attractive and to be like a sidekick to Bond. The Bond girls aren't supposed to be just a pretty face though. Beneath the beauty, they are also expected to be intelligent women that help Bond in his missions. Although both Bond girls have many similarities, they also have many differences which have played a big part in the change of the target audience. Vesper, the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Too often the responsibilities of implementing these strategies, and the outcome are placed solely in the hands of Language Arts and English teachers, who are seen as the sole provider of literacy instruction. However, it has been shown that writing helps students get more actively engaged in the material, no matter the subject area (Daniels, H., Zemelman, S., & Steineke, N. (2007). A reflective write is a way to help students reflect and be more aware of what they have learned, and the process how they learned it (Daniels, H., Zemelman, S., & Steineke, N. 2007). My Personal Career Goals : Dr. Julie K Biddle As you have mentioned in the words of Dr. Julie K Biddle have stated Leaders are not just those individuals with leadership degrees or leadership positions. They are educators, administrators, parents, and others whose leadership thinking and actions promote meaningful learning. It is our duty as educators to facilitate a nurturing learning facility offering learning through play via developmental appropriate practices. As an educator, I feel the most valuable thing I've learned that I feel will help me fulfill my personal career goals is to establish effective communication amongst co–workers and colleagues first and foremost. As educators and leaders and advocates in the education field, we must know how to communicate effectively amongst ourselves with the children and their families as well, however when poor communication skills are practiced it cause discord amongst faculty, staff and their families. Furthermore, I believe one of the key reasons why organizations fail to strive and or reach their full potential is due to lack of proper effective communication skills. When all parties are aware what is expected, what can you offer & how they can obtain what's needed it makes transitioning and facilitating services much more easier. As educational leaders we sometimes forget what it's like to be a facilitator or aide and we give all these unrealistic orders and policies without taking into consideration how processes really go into effect and what really goes into ... She is as indispensable as the gadgets, the car, the chase and the villain set on overtaking the earth. They have always been in the centre of controversy; they have always been branded as beautiful women (often with sexually overt names) who need Bond and ironically, Bond cannot complete his mission without them. They always seem to have perfection in everything they do. However, this portrayal of women can be somewhat unrealistic. Another purpose of the Bond Girl is simply to provide the audience with the right mixture of glamour, glitz and showbiz. Their image also helps reinforce Bond's reputation of being irresistible and in command. Nevertheless, all that glamour usually comes with a price. Being a Bond Girl has frequently been at once the pinnacle of an aspiring actress' career and the end of it. For example, Shirley Eaton, best remembered for being painted gold in Goldfinger back in 1964. Nobody remembers her at all. Nobody remembers how her husband died young and how she struggled to find other major roles after being all gold for Sean Connery. It was the beginning and the end for her in one shimmering moment. The Bond girl seemed a celebration of newly liberated female sexuality. However, that is the illusion of the Bond philosophy, because when it comes to making it as an actress, all that glitters in a Bond movie is definitely not gold. Once the public has seen you in a Bond Movie as a Bond Girl, they automatically conclude that you are ‘dumb' because, portraying a Bond girl isn't exactly a stretch for a young aspiring actress. All Bond Girls come with the regular accessories, a body to die for and one that looks best in bikinis, permanent good hair days, a weird name (e.g. Kissy Suzuki) and plus the ability to coo ‘oh James!' as she slides between the satin sheets with Mr ... A view to kill, the second James Bond movie to be analysed in this essay, has the same gun shot scene at the start, but the action in the movie is much better. This is probably due to the date of release (1985). Dr No was released in 1962. The difference is probably due to more advanced technology being available. This science fiction thriller staring Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges is filled with a mystery that makes the audience really question reality and challenge their own beliefs. The mysterious character Prot, portrayed by Kevin Spacey, who early on finds himself locked up in a mental hospital in Manhattan, claims to be from a distant planet one thousand light years away called K–PAX. Dr. Mark Powell, Portrayed by Jeff Bridges, is the psychiatrist at this mental institution that examines Prot and tries to figure out how to help this particular patient. However, Dr. Powell soon begins to realize that Prot is not any normal patient, but has some rather unexplainable qualities that make him doubt his own explanations. Not to mention Prot's presence has a rather remarkable effect on the mental health of some of the other patients whom believe that he is in fact from K–PAX. While this 2001 Iain Softley film got many mixed reviews, I personally believe it exceeds expectations. Spacey bring a unique twist to the character Prot that reminds the viewers why he is one of the greatest actors of this generation. James Bond Influence On American Films Cinematically, Bond has been a major influence within the spy genre since the release of Dr. No in 1962,[190] with 22 secret agent films released in 1966 alone attempting to capitalise on the Bond franchise's popularity and success.[191] The first parody was the 1964 film Carry On Spying, which shows the villain Dr. Crow being overcome by agents who included James Bind (Charles Hawtry) and Daphne Honeybutt (Barbara Windsor).[192] One of the films that reacted against the portrayal of Bond was the Harry Palmer series, whose first film, The Ipcress File was released in 1965. After writing stories as a child, he put to music some lyrics about the rough Compton streets he grew up on. His stage name was K–Dot when he first started to get the lime light, releasing a series of popular mix tapes, which brought him to the attention of hip–hop producer Dr. Dre. Lamar 's debut major–label recording, good kid, m.A.A.d City, was released to great sales for an up–and–coming recording artist. He continued to receive accolades for his 2015 Grammy–winning album "To Pimp a Butterfly". Kendrick Lamar Duckworth was born in Compton, California, on June 17, 1987. His parents moved to Compton from Chicago to get away the city 's gang culture, although his father was a part of the notorious Gangster Disciples gang. When the the 80s crack trade and West Coast gang presence increased, Lamar grew up around a lot of street activity, but he seemed to be more influenced than scared or harmed by it. He was a good student who enjoyed writing, stories and poems, and then came the lyrics for his music. Lamar 's family was directly touched by the violence of the streets, yet he stayed thoughtful soft– spoken, and a great observer, even as a child. He adopted the stage name K–Dot and began performing his lyrics as a rapper. (Niggaz Wit Attitudes) defined gangsta rap in the 1980s and put West Coast hip hop on the map. During their time in the limelight, they were constantly put down for their lyrics which glorified drugs and crime, were disrespectful to women, showed hatred to the police, and were heavily laced with profanity. Their music was banned from mainstream radio stations for years, but the group still sold tens of millions of records. The original members of N.W.A were Dr. Dre, Eazy–E, Ice Cube, and Arabian Prince. Arabian Prince ended up leaving the group first and Ice Cube left soon after due to disputes over royalties. Essay on Theodore Geisel's Emergence as Dr. Seuss Theodore Geisel's Emergence as Dr. Seuss The appellation , "Dr. Seuss," has become a name that often evokes fond memories of a cherished childhood. Entrenched in monotony of gray day when, "The sun did not shine./ It was too wet to play," we only had to look at the grinning face of Dr. Seuss's famous cat to remind us that there was more to do than wait as time slipped away. There was something appealing in the simple anapestic tetrameter rhythm, coupled with nonsensical words and illustrations of outlandish creatures that seemed to call out to the vibrant, dynamic imagination of a child. Through over forty–two books Dr. Seuss has been able to encourage children to seek delight in reading and has opened the minds of successive ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Despite the universally recognizable cat in a tall, red and white striped, smokestack hat, titles such as, Green Eggs and Ham, and the very name "Dr. Seuss" most people know very little about the individual who hold such high esteem among child and parent alike. In fact, one would question, "Who?" at the very mention of the name Theodore Geisel––– the man behind the cat. As is often the case with figures who reach the realm of mythic status in society much is lost as to their own identity. In this study of the who "Dr. Seuss" really was, one quickly comes to learn that with such a story of success it is simply not enough to say, "He graduated from here. He wrote this," but one must analyze the factors that motivated such overwhelming creativity, productivity, and the social responsibility of educating the unlearned masses of children and adult alike (for those of us who still curl up to, Horton Hears a Who.) In developing this study, the model for creativity set up by Dr. Howard Gardener in his book, Creative Frames of Mind will be employed, serving as a basis of critical inquiry and analysis into the complex mind that created a "Lorax" and the "Grinch." Howard Gardener identifies seven frames of intelligence as existing in the human mind and that humans tend to gravitate toward one or a combination of these intelligences, which then determine the nature of a person's creative ... O'Bannon brings up that Planned Parenthood relies much on their abortion services. The Representation of Gender in Bond's Films Goldeneye and Goldfinger There are two films in particular that I have chosen to look at that show how the representation of gender in Bond movies has changed throughout the years. These two films are 'Goldeneye' and 'Goldfinger.' There are many reasons that the representation of gender has changed between these two films. The most obvious being a change in society. This demonstrates exactly how women's roles have changed. We see Bond as a hero from the start of both 'Goldeneye' and 'Goldfinger' the difference being that in the earlier film, Bond used the woman, who he is kissing as a shield to save himself from being shot. This shows that he has a higher opinion of himself and complete disregard for women. It shows how women are represented as being disposable. In the later film 'Goldeneye' Bond puts Natalias life first, when the train is about to blow up. This shows how representation of gender has changed from the earlier film. Bond now sees Natalia as an equal and wants to ensure that she is safe before himself. Another example of how in the earlier films women were seen to be sex objects is when Bond is talking to a pretty blond woman, but as soon as Felix comes arrives Bond slaps the woman on the bottom and send her on her way declaring that she is no longer required because its 'mans talk.' In 'Goldfinger' women are there for amusement, a trophy figure. Goldfinger himself demonstrates this himself by paying Gill to be seen with him. 'Goldeneye' shows how women are more equal. As the children become older, comments such as "the book was way better" or "the movie didn't even come close to matching the book" or "the movie and book are the exact same, so save time and just watch the movie" are heard once children begin to make connections between the book and the film. It is important to me, as a future teacher, to be able to address such comments from my students and, in turn, help them understand why and how movies can either help or hinder the book's original value and message. To help me prepare, I will compare a children's film to the literary work that came from it. About the Book and Film: For my analysis, I chose to compare The Lorax book and film. In 2013 he gave one of the most popular TED Talks ever, on the topic of the effects of wealth on personal and social psychology. The video is most amusingly titled, "Does money make you mean?" The central claim of the video is that the idea of the American dream revolves around having to place personal desires over those of the general population, resulting in income inequality, and the various plights of said result. In many ways then, this videos central claim becomes 'is the American dream ethical?' Piff goes onto discuss how the psychological ailments that come with living a privileged life can be reversed or prevented through the power of suggestion. The results of this can be seen through various examples of the top one percent, such as Bill Gates, deciding to donate large portions of their wealth for the good of the world. The talk features the citation of over six studies. The most central of these studies is a study Piff opened his TED Talk with. Piff ran an experiment which was meant to gauge how a person's behavior changes in regards to social interaction and food consumption, when one individual is obviously superior in wealth and advantage in comparison to another. To facilitate this on a smaller scale, he ran a true experiment which acted as a metaphor for society as a whole. He had 100 pairs of strangers play a game of Monopoly. The experiment was run ...
