6. NCDR : HOW IT WORKS
• Participants having software in their cath-lab, auto transfer their
data to NCDR Server on regular interval. This removes the
double data entry and possibility of mistakes.
• NCDR authorities have right to audit submitted data as and when
required.
• NCDR generates various analytical reports from submitted data
and compares with national outcomes.
• NCDR periodically sends their reports to participating center to
help them understand their practice and improve the quality care.
• NCDR does it all with due privacy of the data.

7. NIC REGISTRY: A NEW APPROACH
• Prepare a 5 Year Plan to make PTCA Registry effective and
successful.
• Develop a web based NIC Registry data collection system.
• Eliminate the root cause of problem: NO DATA AVAILABLE. It
