Dear Ms Smith,
I hope you are well and I am writing you this letter to ask if there are currently any
opportunities for vision mixers at BBC.
I am a recent graduate of the City of Westminster college and have a National Diploma
in Media production/ TV &. During my time at college, I have learnt all the basics that i
needed to know, and also developed my skills in the roles I like the most. For instant
editing, filming and my IT skills, and I know the basics about lighting and sound as well.
However I haven’t got much experience behind the vision mixing desk but I have
developed my knowledge on this role in my spare time and I’m confident about making a
start. One of the things I did to find out more was to visit different professional media
exhibitions like the BVE in the UK and and have seen different vision mixing desk with
different features.
I am passionate about the TV industry – especially Sport shows – and am a massive fan
of programmes like MOTD and ITV coverage on football. I know I have a lot to learn and
would consider it a privilege to be employed on one of your productions.
I appreciate that you must have many applicants, but ask you to consider me for any
vacancies coming up at BBC. I am hard-working, reliable and a good team player and
would be thrilled to be offered the chance to work for your company.
I can be contacted on 07758936260 or via email on sajad_ebrahimpour@yahoo.com
I look forward to hearing from you shortly.
Best wishes,
John Brown
