The document describes a method for measuring seismic electric signals (SES) using a geo electric voltage sensor to potentially provide early earthquake warning. Experimental setup involved monitoring SES at a rural location in India. Results showed abnormal changes in SES values prior to two earthquakes over 5.0 magnitude in Afghanistan and India, demonstrating the potential for earthquake early warning within 3 hours to 11 days depending on the type of SES.

2. Mathod:
The measurement is relatively simple in principle. One
measures the geo electric voltage sensor. The geo electric
potential is constantly changing, due to causes such as
geomagnetic field variations, rain fall, man-made noise,
electro-chemical instabilities of electrodes and so on. One
has to distinguish meaningful pre-seismic signals, if they
exist at all, from these noise. Strictly following the laws of
basic physics and through almost unbelievable efforts,
accomplished this task and discovered that indeed
precursory seismic electric signals ("SES") did exist,
Depending on the types of SES, earthquakes occur within
several days to several weeks. The location of the focal area
can be predicted by a very peculiar nature of SES, called the
"selectivity", a "sensitive station" is sensitive to SES from
specific focal area(s) only. The magnitude of the earthquake
is estimated through the amplitude of the SES.

3. Experimental Setup :
 Here we are using SES sensor & Data Logger for seismic electric
signal(SES) monitoring.
 The observations have been taken at Dharam pur, a rural area,
located at about 30 km north of Islam pur city where local electric
and electromagnetic disturbances are very low.

Can Earthquake Early warning of magnitude >5 with in 1000
km of the epicentral location and in a 3 hours to 11-day time
window.
