Level 3 Diploma in Children's Learning and Development Maths & English at Level 2 (if not already achieved) Qualifications We will help you achieve the following qualifications and certificates: Gateway Once you’ve gained your new qualifications and you and your employer feel you are ready, we will gather the evidence so you can move on to the final stage. PROGRAMME OVERVIEW The aim of the programme is to ensure you gain the knowledge, skills and attributes required to work as a highly trained professional, who play a key role in ensuring that young children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe. The duration of this apprenticeship programme is typically 18 months. CAREER PATH & PROGRESSION Management Senior Management EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR PROGRAMME COMPRISES End Point Assessment You will complete a final assessment with an independent expert. Don’t worry, we will make sure you’re fully prepared and supported every step of the way. Evidence You’ll produce a portfolio throughout the apprenticeship containing evidence from real work projects and experiences along with reports, witness testimonies and observations.

Understand Children’s Early Years Education and Development Implementing Early Years Foundation Stage Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Plan and Provide Effective Teaching and Learning Make Accurate and Productive Use of Assessment Develop Effective and Informed Professional Practice i Promote the Health,Safety and Well-being Child Protection and Safeguarding Partnership Working in Early Years Understanding How to Promote Play and Learning Support Children’s Outdoor Play Understand How to Work With Children in Home-Based Care Managing a Home-Based Childcare Business Lead and Manage a Community Coordinate Special Educational Needs Provision Understand the Needs of Children Who Are Vulnerable and Experiencing Poverty and Disadvantage Support Disabled Children and Children With Specific Requirements Support The Use of Medication Support Children at Meal or Snack Times Care for the Physical and Nutritional Needs of Babies and Young Children Support the Development of Positive Behaviour in Children Contribute to Effective Team Working in Health and Social Care or Children’s Settings Working Within a Social Pedagogic Framework With Children LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN CHILDREN'S LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT (EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR) 23 mandatory units, designed to develop and demonstrate knowledge and skills in the following areas: STUDY MODULES FUNCTIONAL SKILLS Support available to achieve Level 2 Functional SKills in Maths & English, if required. Throughout this apprenticeship you will be supported by an experienced tutor, providing continuous information, advice and guidance and ensure you are fully prepared to achieve the end point assessment and flourish in your career.
