team)
Case 065 is still on the run despite being an active case
Occurrence of COVID-19 among healthcare workers
Frequent power outages in the PHEOC due to the reliance on NAWEC
Overcrowding at some video clubs with the recommencement of Europe’s football leagues
Cost borne by government at designated quarantine facilities is prohibitive and may be unsustainable
A high-risk contact of one of the cases (a taxi driver who drove him) is at large
Delay in getting a functional e-surveillance system that would ensure the availability of real-time response data
Truck drivers, carrying essential commodities, are being allowed to enter the country from locations with
ongoing community transmission of COVID-19

V. NEXT STEPS/RECOMMENDATIONS:
IPC measures should be strictly adhered to in all healthcare settings
The search for Case 065 needs to be intensified in order to halt the potential spread of the virus by him
Testing of all healthcare workers and patients at EFSTH (including the polyclinic)
Provision of adequate stocks of PPEs to all health facilities
Health workers to observe all COVID-19 preventive measures including the donning of appropriate PPEs at all
times
Ensure there is uninterrupted electricity supply either by the procurement and installation of a solar system or the
provision of a standby generator
Fumigation of the ferries and the ferry terminals
Mass testing targeting taxi drivers and other high-risk groups
Testing of low-risk contacts at commencement and end of follow-up
Video clubs should remain closed despite the resumption of Europe’s football leagues
Government to come up with a more sustainable alternative for quarantine
There should be more security presence at all points of entry around the country to ensure no people are smuggled
Expedite the process of getting all relevant response staff trained on e-surveillance
