Homeopathy, also known as homeopathic

The word 'Homoeopathy' is derived from
two Greek words, Homois meaning similar
and pathos meaning suffering.
5. PRINCIPLES.
Homeopathy is based on three principles:
1.The law of similars: The “like cures like” theory.
2.The principle of the single remedy: One
remedy should cover all the physical, emotional,
and mental symptoms of an illness.
3.The principle of the minimum dose: Only a
small amount of substance is first used at first,
followed by minuscule increases over time.

7. • Homeopathy wellness centres comprise 31% of the total for AYUSH.
Seven out of 10 diseases recognised as a national health burden are
in the category of most commonly reported diseases at the
homeopathy wellness centres.
• Homeopathy services, wherever available, are being used fully and
thus sharing the patient load in the government-run wellness centres.
There is the potential for more homeopathic practitioners to contribute
importantly to health care delivery in India.

9. A 2018 study in an integrative cancer treatment program looked at homeopathy
for symptom management. Of 124 patients, 73% said homeopathic remedies
were beneficial. Those most likely to benefit were:
•People assigned female at birth
•People with breast cancer
•People coping with either chemotherapy-related peripheral neuropathy or hot
flashes8

•This was a small study with only 124 participants

in conventional medical care: time and listening.

compared with the brief visits many allopathic healthcare providers

Homeopathic providers may also take more time to discuss healthy
