2. Method of employing medicine against
disease
1. Dr. Hahnemann (Founder of homeopathy) has mentioned four posible modes of
employing madicine against disease
Homeopathic:
In this method the disease amd drug relation are similar.
ALLopathic OR heteropathic:
In this method the disease and drug relation are dissimilar.
Antipathic OR enantiopathic:
In thus method the disease and drug relation are exact comtrary.
Isopathic OR homopathic:
In this method a particular disease is cured by giving the same disease principle that
produce it.
3. Homeopathy;
Homeopathy or homœopathy is a pseudoscientific system of alternative medicine. It was created in 1796 by
Samuel Hahnemann. Its practitioners, called homeopaths,
1. Homeopathy has a genral principle applied to find out a specific remedy for eavh sufering individual.
2. Homeopathy treats the patientas whole and not the disease as commonly named.
3. Homeopathy looks at the human organism from the view of a biological whole.
4.
5. ORIGINATOR OF HOMEOPATHY
Dr. Hahnmann was the founder of homeopathy
Christian friedrich Samuel Hahnemann was born on 10th April in Meissen, a beautiful city
in saxony of Germany, in the yeae 1755.

6. Modren researchs in homeopathy
IN MARCH 2015, the National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia
issued the following conclusions and Recommendations:
1. There is no reliable evidence that homeopathy is effective for treating health
conditions.
2. Homeopathy should not be used to treat health conditions that are chronic, serious, or
could become serious.
3. People who choose homeopathy may put their health at risk if they reject or delay
treatments for which there is good evidence for safety and effectiveness.
4. People who are considering whether to use homeopathy should first get advice from a
registered health practitioner. Those who use homeopathy should tell their health
practitioner and should keep taking any prescribed treatments.
7. The Australian National health and madicl Research
Council completed a comprehensive review of the
effectiveness of homeopathic preparations in 2015, in
which it concluded that "there were no health
conditions for which there was reliable evidence that
homeopathy was effective. No good-quality, well-
designed studies with enough participants for a
meaningful result reported either that homeopathy
caused greater health improvements than placebo, or
caused health improvements equal to those of another
treatment."
8. In November 2016, The United States FTC issued an "Enforcement Policy Statement
Regarding Marketing Claims for Over-the-Counter Homeopathic Drugs” which specified that
the FTC will hold efficacy and safety claims for OTC homeopathic drugs to the same standard
as other products making similar claims.[366] A November 15,2016, FTC press release
summarized the policy as follows:

council;
ON SEPTEMBER 20,2017, the EuropeanAcademies'
Science Advisory Council(EASAC) published its official
analysis and conclusion on the use of homeopathic
products, finding a lack of evidence that homeopathic
products are effective, and raising concerns about quality

11. Scientific Research in Homeopathic
Medicine: Validation,Methodology and
Perspectives
Verona’s School of Homeopathic Medicine (www.omeopatia.org) organized a day
of full immersion in the field of homeopathy, focusing on the validity of this
much-debated discipline. There is widespread consensus in the medical
community that evidence-based medicine is the best standard for assessing
efficacy and safety of healthcare practices, and systematic reviews with strict
protocols are essential to establish proof for various therapies. Students,
homeopathic practitioners, academic and business representatives, who are
interested in or curious about homeopathic practices attended the conference.
12. Clinical research
The published homeopathic clinical trial and meta-analysis review was very
detailed (as many as 80 studies were reviewed). Results varied, and the following
observations were extensively discussed during the course of the con- ference:
(i) homeopathic research requires more rigorous trials;
(ii) clinical studies on asthma, allergies and other
14. FIGURE 1.. The three tenets of homeopathy. Similarity: healing is achieved by
taking a drug that proved by healthy individuals have yielded symptoms and signs
very similar to those of the patients. Dilution and dynamization: homeopathy uses
diluted and ‘dynamized’ drugs: dilution followed by succussion should increase
the drug ‘potency’. Individualization: homeopathic approach is personalized, is a
‘holistic’ method of diagnosis and of prescription. These three strictly related
aspects of homeopathy can become objects of scientific investigation
15. Key point
High homeopathic dilutions are reported to be effective both in humans and
animal/in vitro models.
Methodological problems in clinical trials can be overcome drawing up a specific
approach to clinical homeopathic research with a large approved consensus.
1. ‘Similarity’ is a heuristic (finding) principle.
Homeopathy is coherent to health-disease homeodynamics.
