Spike Jonze is an American director, producer, screenwriter and actor known for his music videos and films. Some of his most notable works include directing the music video for "Da Funk" by Daft Punk, which featured an anthropomorphic dog character in New York City. He began his feature film career directing Being John Malkovich (1999) and Adaptation (2002), both written by Charlie Kaufman. Jonze has also written and directed his own films, such as Where the Wild Things Are (2009) and Her (2013).
