This document outlines an research study on the proficiency level of semester 5 TESL students and the problems they face constructing questions. It will measure students' proficiency through a test and identify problems through semi-structured interviews and a questionnaire. Finally, it will explore ways to overcome the problems identified, such as through additional semi-structured interviews and questionnaires. Sample assessment tools and surveys are provided for reference.
