How do you use new media
technologies in the construction and
research/ planning + stages of
evaluation.

2. New media technologies used
• In this project we have used the internet a lot and we have gained a lot of help and a lot of
opinions from it we have used many websites such as blogger, scribd, facebook and prezi.
These have helped us a lot with are audience research and the actual task it self.
• Social media websites
With these websites we were able to find out want are audience wants to be in the music video
and they helped us to find the correct target audience and they also gave us a good
understanding of what people want. For are evaluation Youtube and Facebook helped up to see
what people liked about the film and how many views they got this helped us to get a good
understanding on are actions.
• Presentation websites
These are ones such as blogger, prezi and scribd. These helped us to show are research in a more
advanced way and made it more interesting for the viewer of are information. With blogger we
have been making a blog and have uploaded everything in which we have done on it. It has
helped us a lot and made things more simple.

3. Editing software's
• Photoshop
For photo shop we used this for a re digi packs and are music
video advert we used many of the effects in it such as blurr
and fade. This helped us over lap the layers when we
duplicated layer and helped them to blend in with each other.
This gave them the effect of a well edited picture. We also
used many of the other filters to make sure that it become the
perfect image that suited the correct genre of music video.
• Final cut pro
For final cut pro we used it for a lot of things and we sued it
for a re test shots and it helped us to find the correct style of
film we wanted. we also used it for things such as are
audience research to help edit are interviews in which we
made and helped us to give a comedy side to it for it helped us
with timing and pauses. With the actual film itself it helped
give us many ideas on the actual video in the effects panels.

4. Camera
• Camera 600 D
When we where filming we used this camera and it helped us to capture the images we wanted
and it helped us gain exactly what we wanted as we had many lenses for it and helped us work in
many different lights the range of this camera also helped us a lot for are video stand out and the
high quality of it was incredibly successful as we could focus in and out very well and do
incredible close ups.
• IPhone 5
The iphone 5 helped us to get different angles on the same footage and gave us that extra help in
hand. We used it for a fish eye lenses as well and we used it in places such as the marry go round.
As we did not want to take the expensive equipment on the merry go round. We also needed this
phone for interveiw as we needed to different angles and to do the 180 degree rule.
