Admission Procedure consist of three parts-
1) Registration on DTE Maharashtra web site.
2) CAP (Centralized Admission Process) Process.
3) Reporting to allotted Institute & confirming admission

Post SSC Diploma & HSC Diploma Admission Procedure
Step 1: Candidate registration on DTE website by paying registration fees online
as per category

Step 2: Due to COVID 19 there are two ways of submitting form
Physical Submission (STEP 3)
E-Submission / Online Submission (STEP 4)
Step 3: (Only for Physical Submission): Take print out of Application form &
Report to Facilitation Center (FC) with original documents for application
form verification & confirmation .

18. Step 4 : (Only for Online / E-submission): Students has to submit Application
Form online . Facilitation Center (FC) will confirm form & student can
get their acknowledgement through their respective login
Step 5: Display of Provisional Merit List on DTE Maharashtra website.
Step 6: Grievances (if any) in Provisional Merit List report to respective
Facilitation Center (FC) in case of physical submission
Or
Submit online grievance to Facilitation Center (FC) through Grievance

(Minimum 1 to maximum 300 options)
Step B : After allotment of CAP 1 ,there are three possibilities-
• Allotted in institute of your choice
• Want to go for betterment
• Not alloted in any institute

29. • 1. Minimum passing percentage: 35%
• 2. 10th + (2 years ITI) shall be eligible for admission to Second Year Diploma
Course(s) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology.
• 3. For Direct Second Year of Post SSC Diploma Courses, - Candidate passed 10+2
examination with Physics/ Mathematics /Chemistry/ Computer Science/
Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology /Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology
/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics / Business
Studies/ Entrepreneurship (Any of the three) from a recognized institution located
and residing in a Maharashtra.
• Note: Other than Maharashtra State Candidates shall be eligible for Institution
quota only.

30. • After passing Diploma in any branch, candidates are eligible to take admission in
Direct Second Year Degree Course of any Branch.
• For example: Industrial Electronics diploma candidate can take admission in
Direct Second Year Degree Course in Computer/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics……,
etc.
