Fear of unknown , losing control , ego , fear of losing jobs etc are some of the reasons for which people resist change. Some of the ways in which implementation of IT driven change can be implemented are as follows: 1.Call key staffs and brief them about the plan of change and tell them what are the benefits.Assure them that no one is going to lose a job if this change is implemented. 2.Let these key staffs act as advocates for the company and they in turn should convey the message to all their subordinates. 3.Make a commitee consisting os staffs from different levels and assign them the responsibility of implementing the change. 4.Hold regular meeting with this team to check the progress of the implementation and bottlencks if any. 5.Acknowledge their contribution and reward them after the change is completely implemented and adopted. 6.Let the same team monitor the institutionalization of the change, that is the change should be permanent. .
