2. What is carpentry?
Carpentry is a skilled trade in which the primary work performed is the
cutting,shaping and installation of building materials during the construction of
buildings,ships,timber,bridge, concrete formwork,etc.

object. Most hammers are hand tools used to drive nails,
fit parts, forge metal, and break apart objects. Hammers
vary in shape, size, and structure depending on their

that can provide an accurate
elevation comparison between
multiple points that rival each
other to be a county high point,
or to be the highest summit of a
major peak (and therefore the
summit that takes its
prominence). It is based on the
principle that if you fill a hose
with water and let it come to
rest, the water level at both ends
will be the same.
8. A chisel is a tool with a
characteristically shaped cutting edge
of blade on its end, for carving or
cutting a hard material such as wood,
stone, or metal by hand, struck with a
mallet, or mechanical power.

10. A circular saw is a power-saw using a toothed or
abrasive disc or blade to cut different materials using a
rotary motion spinning around an arbor. A hole
saw and ring saw also use a rotary motion but are
different from a circular saw. Circular saws may also be
loosely used for the blade itself. Circular saws were
invented in the late 18th century and were in common use
in sawmills in the United States by the middle of the 19th
century.
11. The power planer is a hand-held
tool, but it operates like an
upside-down stationary jointer.
There's a cutter-head with a pair
of sharp knives that, like a plane
iron, removes shavings of stock.
12. A drill is a tool fitted with
a cutting tool attachment
or driving tool attachment,
usually a drill bit or driver
bit, used for making holes
in various materials or
driving screws.
