Mixin Classes in Odoo 17 How to Extend Models Using Mixin Classes
Evaluation Question 5
1.
2. Research and Planning
Before I started making my product, I did lots of research into my target
audience, and found out who my target audience was. I has a Questionnaire
to use and asked people about what they wanted in a magazine, I then tried to
apply this feedback to my product. One of the questions was about font, and
one person said the font was too basic but there is variety of font on the page,
so I decided to use a variety of fonts on my front cover. I also asked a question
about the masthead, whether it should be the width of the page or not. One
person said if you can see it, it doesn’t matter, but another said it takes up a
lot of the page, and I agreed with this. There is also other things that I decided
to incorporate from my feedback too. I said in my secondary research that I
wanted to aim for both genders, but then I decided later in my production to
aim mostly for males, because it looks more appropriate for them. I also
looked at reader profiles from professional magazines, and this helped me
make my own reader profile and found out who my target audience.

too. The fonts are also quite varied throughout which is good.

15. Models, Costume and Props
I had 2 models, for the front cover model I chose a union
jack onesie, to show that he is playful, and also a huge
British star. I tried to show that he is rebellious through his
facial expressions, and also made him hold a guitar to show
he is a famous guitarist too. For my DPS model, I tried to
make him look like an old rock star, so I came up with a very
basic outfit for him, plain white t and black jeans, and I also
tried to make him look cool by tilting his head and having no
facial expression, and also make him look like a fun guy by
having him smile on he contents page.
16. House Style
I tried to vary my fonts as much as possible in order to make the magazine
more interesting, I used a font for the R so it had a long tail, because that was
my original idea to find a font like that. I also tried to maintain my house style
throughout my magazine, and tried to make it look as professional as possible
by looking at professional magazines. There is also a huge difference between
my rough cut magazine and my final magazine. I decided that it all looked very
boring, so I needed to bring in more colours, and change the layout. For
example, on my front cover, I changed the position of the sell line, and also
made my masthead a lot bigger. On my contents page I changed the layout
completely, by putting all the contents at the bottom, and having a new image
at the top of a live band. I also put a picture of myself in and a little article
about what I say. I changed my DPS by making a large quote in different
colours, and making the article a lot smaller, I also made the whole
background grey, with a but of noise added to it. I think my magazine looks a
lo better now.
