London is the capital of the UK with over 8 million residents. Key landmarks on the guided tour with Mr. Bean include the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, which establishes the prime meridian; Buckingham Palace, the official residence of the British monarch; the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben; the nearly 1000-year old Tower of London formerly used as a fortress, prison, and palace; Tower Bridge allowing ships to pass underneath; Madame Tussauds wax museum featuring famous figures; and stunning views of London from the top of the 135-meter London Eye Ferris wheel. The tour concludes with goodbyes at the city center taxi stop.

the UK. It is a very big
city. About 8 million
people live here.
5. Greenwich is a district of the
south-east London. There is
a Royal Observatory where
the prime meridian is based -
a border of the eastern and
western hemisphere.

8. Buckingham Palace was built in
1703 and it is the biggest royal
palace in the world. It is the official
residence of the British monarchs.

in front of the Palace.

I want to show you the Tower Bridge.
16. The bridge was officially opened on 30 June
1894. The bridge consists of two towers
tied together at the upper level by means of
two horizontal walkways. It is a bascule
bridge so the ships can sail under it when it
opens.

see her in the Madame
Tussauds Museum.
