BUCKINGHAM PALACE THE QUEEN LIVES IN  BUCKINGHAM PALACE, A VERY BIG PALACE  WITH MORE THAN 600 ROOMS. WHEN THE  QUEEN IS AT HOME, THE ROYAL FLAG FLIES ON THE ROOF.

HYDE PARK THE SERPENTINE, RIDE A HORSE  ALONG  THE FAMOUS ROTTEN ROW OR GIVE YOUR POINT OF VIEW ABOUT A PARTICULAR  PROBLEM AT SPEAKER’S CORNER THIS IS THE LARGEST PARK IN LONDON. INSIDE YOU CAN LISTEN TO A  BAND, ROW ON THE LAKE CALLED
TRAFALGAR SQUARE Trafalgar Square was built to commemorate the famous sea victory of 1805 in which the British admiral, lord Nelson, was killed. In honour of him a monument was built in the middle of the square and is known as Nelson column.
WESTMINSTER  ABBEY Westminster Abbey, more than 500 years old, is a wonderful example of English gothic style. It is used for Coronations, Royal Wedding and State Funerals. Many famous British people are buried here.
THE HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT ,[object Object]
BIG BEN BIG BEN IS ONE OF FIRST THINGS YOU SEE WHEN VISIT LONDON. IT  WAS ERECTED AFTER THE HOUSE OF PARLIAMENT HAD BEEN BURNED IN 1834. THE HUGE CLOCK INSIDE THE TOWER IS EXTREMELY ACCURATE.
DOWNING STREET THE PRIME MINISTER RESIDENCE
THE LONDON EYE IT IS 135 METRES HIGH. IT  STANDS BESIDE THE RIVER THAMES, NEAR THE HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT. YOU CAN RIDE ON THE WHEEL IN BIG PLASTIC CABINS THE WHEEL TURNS VERY  SLOWLY AND FROM THE TOP YOU CAN SEE ALL OF LONDON. THE VIEW IS MAGNIFICENT.
THE TOWER OF LONDON ANCIENT FORTRESS   IN LONDON, NOW USED AS A MUSEUM, WAS A ROYAL RESIDENCE IN THE MIDDLE AGES. LATER IT WAS A JAIL. IN THE TOWER OF LONDON THERE ARE THE CROWN JEWELS. THE BEEFEATERS ARE THE GUARDS OF THE TOWER.
TOWER BRIDGE THIS VERY FAMOUS VICTORIAN BRIDGE, NOW MORE THAN 100 YEARS  OLD,IS 60 METRES LONG AND ITS TOWERS RISE TO A HEIGHT OF 43 METRES. IT WAS DESIGNED BY WOLFE BARRY AND HORACE JONES AND COMPLETED IN 1874. IF YOU CLIMB THE TOWERS YOU CAN ENJOY A BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE RIVER AND SEE THE ORIGINAL STEAM MECHANISM FOR RAISING THE BASCULES. TOWER BRIDGE WAS OPENED IN 1894.
Piccadilly Circus ,[object Object]
Madame Tussaud's Close to Madame Tussaud’s is the PLANETARIUM. Open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., it is a favorite stop for the children who love astranomy. Laser concerts are sometimes held in the evening.
REGENT’S PARK Here you can see wonderful houses, an open air theatre that presents performances of plays by Shakespeare, some colleges, and the London Zoo.

ST JAMES’S PARK This park is the oldest and the most beautiful park in London. It dates back to 1532 when Henry VIII acquired it. St James’s Park is known today for its brilliant flowers borders and for the pelicans on the lake.
HOW TO MOVE AROUND LONDON BY TAXI BY BUS A typical London means of transport is the old “ black car”  It is cheaper than the “tube” Take the typical red “double”
BY UNDERGROUND The quickest way to move is by underground, it is called the “tube”. There are various lines which take you very quickly from one side of the town to the other.
Shopping: Harrod’s It is one of the world’s most famous and legendary stores, where you can buy practically anything
IN REGENT STREET  YOU CAN VISIT ONE OF THE BIGGEST TOY SHOPS IN THE WORLD, HAMLEY’S TOY SHOP. HAMLEY’S TOY SHOP
COVENT GARDEN It was a fruit and vegetable market. Today there are fine elegant shops restaurants and street entertainers.
Restaurants There are a lot of Chinese, Italian, Indian, Greek and Turkish restaurants. If your want to eat something English, go to “Fish and Chips”shop.

IT WAS DESIGNED BY WOLFE BARRY AND HORACE JONES AND COMPLETED IN 1874.
