• Reporting will be done every
meeting.
• 5-7 members per group (depending
on the class size)

Your group report consists of the
following:
- 20 minute presentation
- Keynote file
- Handouts for the entire class

1. Characters
• Discuss and list the main characters in each
Act
• Describe each character and their role
• If this isn’t the first appearance of the
character, discuss how they’ve changed since
the previous acts
2. Vocabulary
• Discuss three to five difficult words used in the
act
• Define them and use them in a sentence
5. Grou p Report

3. Plot
• Scene by scene discussion
• Timeline of events for that act
• Dramatic reading of key moment/s in the act
4. Shakespearean Language
• Look for 2-3 words or sayings created by
Shakespeare that are still being used in normal
times
6. Grou p Report

5. Theme
• Discuss the theme/s that can be derived from the
act. Give textual evidence from the play that will
concretize that theme.
• How does the act connect to the overall theme of
the play?
6. Connections
• Relate the events in the assigned act to a) events in
your own life, b) events in the world/news and c)
events in a book/movie/TV show. Provide at least
one example each.
7. Grou p Report

7. Key Lines
• What are the most memorable lines
from the act?
• Provide the scene and line number, as
well as who said the line
8. Submission
• The group is to send a copy of their handouts to their
classmates 1 DAY BEFORE their report.
• AFTER THE REPORT the group is to send a copy of the
final Keynote used and handout made to me via email.
