2. Lesson Overview
• Students will read the story Corduroy.
• A powerpoint with questions based on the
story will be presented to the students.
• Clickers will be distributed to class
– Students will use pin to log onto iRespond.
– Students will demonstrate on how to use iRepond
clickers by choosing the correct answer.
3. iRespond Clickers
• Teachers create a powerpoint
slideshow that can be based on
questions that use yes/no,
true/false and multiple choice
questions.
• Responses can be gauged based on
the students level of understanding
of the story.
4. Student log-in sequence
• Students log in using a unique
PIN.
• Responders are numbered so
students will not have to
constantly remember Pin
access codes
• Once students log in
correctly, light changes from
red to green
5. iRespond Clickers
• Students will be taught how to use
the clickers by pressing on the
button for which they believe is the
correct answer
• A graph at the top of the screen will
show which students have/have not
chosen a question.

scores provided direction for
many of the created slides.
• Opportunities for re-
teaching will be examined
throughout the story.
