Pressure Management Projects.
Maiden Lane North; Maiden Lane South & Crouch Hill. (The West End, the City of
London and North London)
I began these 3 projects in November 2006 as the Construction Manager in charge of
on site construction activities. This involved the installation of large bore PRV’s,
Meters and By-Pass work in and around central London.
In April 2007 the Project Manager left the company and was never replaced, passing
all his duties over to myself.
In August 2008 the Commissioning Manager left the company and once again his
duties where passed to me. Over the past 10 months I have had to produce 3
Commissioning plans, 3 Commissioning Manuals and assist and audit the
corresponding electrical testing, local Site Acceptance Testing, Site Training and
Training Manuals, CFAT testing and O&M Manuals and the completion of the
corresponding Health and Safety files.
This has proved to be a huge success almost halving Thames Waters leakage
target for the year with just one PM Project completion!
