● Started with a small edible oil factory in 1996, Rajhans (Desai-Jain) Group has today

● Appx selling price – Rs. 12000 per sq. ft
● Labor contract given to Universal Construction of 6,62,542 sq. ft at the rate of Rs.261 per sq. ft

7. Responsibilities Assigned
● Site Execution
1. Coordinating with contractor for revised drawing or any change in a scope of work.
2. Checking of Formwork (alignment, oiling, joints and measurement) and Reinforcement
(Diameter of bar, spacing, chairs provided and cover blocks) before casting of any structural
element.
● Planning Department
1. Creating the WBS of the Project
2. Coordinating with Planning manager if any changes in the duration or extra resources
required for the activities.
● Quantity Estimation Department
1. To calculate the concrete and reinforcement quantity for terrace water tank.
2. To check quantities of material for proposed running bill by RMC consultant.
8. Contribution to Project Work
Rate analysis was carried out to prepare the budget of the project and it also helped to
know-how the small resources utilized for the work.
Quantity estimation work helped to prepare BBS and for giving concrete order to RMC
contractor for casting various elements.

10. Learnings
● In the office hours, on MSP software I have learned to link activities and assigning resources
as per WBS of the project, it gave me an idea how parallel the planned activity on software
and on site differ due to challenging condition
● I visited the site lab and had a glance to files and register prepared for testing of materials.
● I also learned how to estimate the quantity of (Reinforcement, Shuttering and concreting),
and how to prepare the budget using rate analysis which will lead to initial cost of
construction.
● From the visit of RMC plant, I had Glance to the Mix design (M25, M35, M45) procedure and
sources of material.
● I have learned bills checking claimed by the contractor for payment and learned how to
prepare a bill file
