- Ulukau terms were changed from MARC terms to separate the age group from the reading level. Acknowledge Helen Wong Smith at UH Hilo Library for pointing out that an adult learner of Hawaiian may be reading at the primary or adolescent level, and a teenager may be reading at the adult level (MARC 008 = e). Used f specialized for reference as a means to categorize reference titles without using a shelving location. Codes are somewhat mnemonic
