Employee Engagement is a human resource
concept that describes the level of
enthusiasm and dedication a worker feels
towards their job. Engaged employees care
about their work and about the performance
of the company, and feel that their efforts
make a difference.

• Leads to higher retention rates.
• Increased Employee Satisfaction.
• Lower Absenteeism.
• Uncover Individual Employee Weakness.
• Companies with engaged employees are

PLAN
Sometimes doing unplanned and unexpected
things to the employees in a good way helps to
increase the engagement with the employees
which definitely increases the loyalty towards the
company.
For instance an employee is late for consecutive
days and he expects his Boss to be rude with
him. Rather what can be done is that the Boss of
the company would have an informal interaction
with the employee to know the reason. Doing this
would increase the employee engagement and
hence will motivate the employee to perform
better.

Team building activities
Informal meetings helps more in employee engagement as it helps to catch up with the team informally, building networks and
hence provides much more energy to work in the company. Also informal conversation can prompt employees to feedback about
something that they may otherwise have kept to themselves.
Ways of Employee Engagement
Flexible working hours , gaming rooms, pools, playgrounds can be provided
and even to keep high morale, employees can bring their pets to work.

Access can be given to on-site library of books. Also company can offer
‘GLOBAL EDUCATION LEAVE’ program for employees to take leave for
pursuing further education.
INNOVATION Company must offer its employees innovative work environment.
HEALTH Company can offer On site physicians and medical services to employees.
They also can provide Travel Insurance and emergency assistance on both
personal and work vacations.
Ways of Employee Engagement
Company can offer Death Benefits to decreased employee families. Some
amount like 20%-50% of the employee’s salary can given to the family for 5-10
years whose partner has died.

EMPLOYEES
Employees can use various tools to ask questions and vote on other’s
questions.
Once in a week the company can hold an all-hands meeting where company
leaders would respond to the most popular questions of that week.
