One of the major roles of the Indian Medical Graduate
is that of being a member of a health care team.
While the MBBS program is structured to build this
competence during its course, an introduction to the
concept of working in a team is essential at the
beginning.

15. Healthcare systems are composed of numerous
professional groups, departments, and specialties with
intricate, nonlinear interactions between them; the
complexity of such systems is often unparalleled as a
result of constraints relating to different disease areas,
multidirectional goals, and multidisciplinary staff.
