1. WEBFIL is a leading manufacturer of Digital Telecommunication Equipment for Indian Railways and
also executes projects involving Communication and Networking. Over the last twenty years, the
company has executed large number of Turnkey Telecom/ Network projects in various Government
Sectors and Indian Railways. As on date WEBFIL has more than 6500 installation of one of its
product viz. Digital Drop / Insert Primary Multiplexer operational at various Communication nodes of
Railway Network. This product commands a market share over 60% and covers almost 2/3 of Indian
Railway’s OFC Network. WEBFIL has its own R&D unit for development of communication
/electronic equipment which is recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government
of India.
WEBFIL also has a joint Venture Company with WBHIDCO (West Bengal Housing Infrastructure
Development Corporation) for the development of Telecom Infrastructure in the New Town, Rajarhat
area. This Company holds the right of way for all communication related activities in the geographic
area of New Town, Kolkata, India.
Drawing its strength in Communication, Networking and project execution, the Company has
ventured into projects like IP Based CCTV Security Surveillance, Addressable Fire Detection and
Alarm System, Networked Biometric Access Control and Time attendance System, Vehicle Tracking
System , Video Conferencing, Wi Fi Hot Spots or any such related projects.
It may be highlighted here that the core of all such systems is designing an Efficient Network and
Communication System which is exactly what WEBFIL has been doing for the last two decades.
Therefore WEBFIL has the unique advantage of having the ability to put up even the back bone
infrastructure for setting up such systems in single or multiple locations which can be remotely
accessed and controlled from a Central Control Centre.
