The advice I would have for the maker of this is ad that they should not make fun of a
person’s skin to sell your product. In the 21st century, we are trying to make our world
diverse where everyone is equal in this global village. It probably is not only dissatisfying
to me, but also billions of people around the globe. Instead of mocking someone’s skin to
sell your product, you could just make a simple add which would have had dirty clothes
put into the washing machine and show them come out clean after a wash.

The video is only trying to encourage what Trump is trying to do. It is only trying to
encourage and urge the people of America to join him in the rally of building a wall. An
advice I have for the maker of the message is to educate themselves in the countries these
people are fleeing from and understand why they are fleeing.

This picture is a little upsetting. It
is because this image spreads the
wrong image of Islam. It
shows that we are violent
people. They see the radical
Muslims. The world views Islam
as if we are part of Isis or any
other radical Muslim group. Does
the Klu Klux Klan present all
Christians? Than why does Isis
present all Muslims?

I got into a conversation with a guy friend in
regard to this film. He was so happy to see
how females were represented as cunning,
fierce and sexy and was looking forward to
my opinion of it. I informed him how I
perceived the movie to be just as awesome
as he thought but that it was lacking in a
certain aspect. I told him it felt unbalanced
and they could have at least added a black
girl too. He responded to me with “yeah but
isn’t that just what they’re training you to
think? That something is unbalanced
because it doesn’t have a black person in
it?” and even though I am not exactly black
I was deeply offended by this. Our country
is beautifully diverse. It is unfortunate that
we have to “train” people to perceive things
a certain way. I am curious as to what this
says about our country.

They want to expose viewers to
a new type of family but do so by playing it safe. There are many gay men who love musicals,
fashion, parties and decorating, but there are just as many who don’t enjoy those things.
This show had the opportunity to cast a wide net and encourage its viewers to abandon a
single definition or picture of what a gay man is. Instead the writers and creators of Modern
Family further reinforced the most popular generalizations about gay men.

This message is dissatiying because it
doesn’t tell the full story. Wall Street
operates under a set of rules. Those laws
are generated by government. They are also
responsible for enforcing the laws.
Regulators dropped the ball by not
overseeing the high amounts of leverage
banks were taking on. More importantly, it
was only a few banks that triggered a drop
in markets.

The advice I would give to the maker of this
message is that they should not disrespect
women and young adults all over the world, by
giving all the credit to Kylie Jenner’s wealth to
Kylie Jenner. Instead, it would be appropriate to
make sure that the readers are aware that she
turned millions of dollars into billions when the
average America will never even see millions of
dollars. It is a blatant misuse of such a reputable
magazine like Forbes to encourage a false
perception that even if you do not acquire higher
education or you have a child at a young age, it
will all be okay and you can become a millionaire
or billionaire by making sure you have a lot of
Instagram followers. If Kylie Jenner can become a
self-made billionaire, everyone can. However,
everyone cannot become a self-made billionaire
because Kylie Jenner is not one.

Within this film we find messages that normalize acts such as objectifying, controlling
and silencing women. Although they are not explicit messages they are unconsciously
conveyed to the public in ways that might influence people's thoughts or behaviors…If I
could go back in time and talk to the director of this movie I would highly recommend
some modifications regarding Tinker Bell’s wardrobe and communication. Tinker Bell is
in fact a strong and stubborn go getter who could be a decent role model for young girls
watching this movie. However, the aspects I have previously described take away from
her role as an independent female who rejects the typical “house wife” status.

I found this video dissatisfying because I found the message to be flawed and made me
feel bad about myself as a guy. Although the video pointed out a few good messages,
the whole video left me feeling ashamed about how I could possibly be toxic in the eyes
of society…I don’t want my kids to think less of themselves and think they’re
toxic, they should be free to express themselves as they please and taught correctly
when they’ve done wrong, not dictated by what someone else thinks he should be
raised.

(RE: RIVERDALE, DYNASTY, etc. ) I began to notice a certain “character” almost being
portrayed and projected by these actors. This made me dissatisfied because one of my best
friends in real life is gay and he’s nothing like the stereotypes being shown. Being gay is just
a singular part of him, it’s not the entirety of his personality…My advice to show runners is
to bring a more normalized and realistic LGBT character to life. Just because they are gay
doesn’t mean that their character should be sacrificed. It’s important to show future
generations that being gay is just a part of someone and it doesn’t engulf their entire
existence.

While I do not identify as black, my best friend of 20 years is black. Often times we
converse about the issues with modern day society. One thing that truly irks him, is how
more times than not black people are portrayed as less than becoming. Don’t get us
wrong, we love our gangster films like the next guy, but there is no diversity in roles
portrayed by black people in Hollywood…Often, we see that a positive black role is used
to portray a nonfictional character whose events in the film actually transpired in real life.
There seems to be little to no creative writing for a fictional black character on the big
screen.

Maniac features a budding romance between the two main characters. This serves as a
comforting resolution for the final episode. As the characters depart the pharmaceutical trial as
“healed,” they leave together. The notion that love can save you from your demons is nice, but a
dangerous notion at that…To believe that love can offer respite is naïve and a false flag for the
viewing audience, which I believe to be a demographic I fit into. But again, I say this as my
criticism of a show I really enjoyed and that spoke to me in somewhat profound ways. I
purposefully chose to focus on it for this assignment in order to see how I would pick it apart.
Their intentions were good, and much of the series does justice to mental illness.

This ad is a real attention grabber because of the introduction, its mocking comedy, and its
relatability. I picked this commercial because of the word choice they used to describe their
food since it’s a very inappropriate word to be saying in a big sports event that is watched by
many families. The commercial mocks the actions that one does when watching porn
throughout the video which I found very disturbing and disgusting. I didn’t like that they
used the word porn since kids watch the super bowl and kids are very curious which can
lead to them seeing things, they shouldn’t be allowed to see yet but with one google search,
they can find all the information they need on it. I was reading the comments on this
commercial on YouTube and one person made a comment saying “My kid just asked me
what porn is “which is what I thought would probably happen from this commercial.
