Objectives of Training:
• Strengthen the relationship between PGS state and service providers.
• Strengthen the relationship and collaboration between local PGS
treatment providers, PGS prevention specialists, and agency
executives.
• Discuss the value of investing and integrating problem gambling
services within local agencies.
• Assure common knowledge of the basic statewide system and
expectations

• Youth prevalence data and implications
• Understanding your role for advocacy and policy recommendations
related to OR Lottery Retailers

• Core survey with two separate modules for 8th and 11th
grade

1. Gambling involves betting anything of value (money, a watch, soda,
etc.) on a game or event. Please check all of the different types of
gambling that you have bet on, if any during the last 30 days (select
one or more response)
a) I did not gamble in the last 30 days
b) Playing scratch off tickets, or any lottery tickets (such as Powerball or
Megabucks)
c) Playing dice or coin flips
d) Playing cards (poker, etc.)
e) Betting on games of personal skill (bowling, video games, dares, etc._
