   A model based on an Alco design (DL531B), and erected by DLW. The
    loco has a flat-ended cab at one end. Appearance: On the whole it is
    somewhat bigger than the WDS-6, and with a round fuel tank instead of
    the integrated body fuel tank that the WDS-6 has. Co-Co, 6-cylinder 4-
    stroke turbo-supercharged engine (Alco 251B-6, 1065hp), electric
    transmission. Some of these were used for industrial shunting. A few are
    [6/03] at Mughalsarai and Bondamunda sheds.
