Project Objective:
CRM application is designed to provide better services to the customers with the agreed
SLA. Through the front end application view, it provides great facility for CSRs to serve customers
with relevant queries. Application is designed to provide support for different functional views
based on the business unit. It also has been designed to measure performance metrics in different
categories for both business point of view and customer point of view. The new application
provides business functions across sales, marketing and service department to perform the activities
like customer on boarding, sales and reporting.
Project Role : Software Engineer with the following responsibilities
Involved in defining business rules in Pega through activities.
Understanding the business Use case documents and implementing the business rules based
on the requirements.
Developing the High level design and low level design documents.
Worked on Flow Rules, User Interface, Data Page, Business Rules, Data transforms, SOAP

consumer and commercial clients worldwide. AIG has over 2.6 million policies in force served by 24
branch offices and a service network of more than 17,000 agents nationwide. . AIG provides different
products to the customer like Wealth Accumulation, Life Protection, Health Protection, Retirement. Its
consumer insurance solutions include personal accident and medical insurance, personal property,
extended warranty, and travel insurances. The company’s commercial insurance solutions comprise
property, liabilities, engineering, personal accident and medical, marine, small and medium-sized
enterprise, and corporate travel insurances. The data is extracted from Multiple Databases and transformed
them as per the requirements given by customer and loading into Rigid Mart on a daily batch run by using
automation Unix , Monitor, resolving the production issues and raise the SDP according our requirements.
Technical Responsibilities:
Used Autosys for scheduling, monitoring and running jobs.
Extensively used Data stage Director for Job Scheduling, Emailing production support for
Troubleshooting from LOG files.
Supervise/provide maintenance and production support, trouble-shooting production issues.

Customer : The Bank of Nova Scotia Berhad
Description : The Bank of Nova Scotia Bernhard (Scotia bank), a wholly owned subsidiary
of The Bank of Nova Scotia, has 40 years history in Malaysia Nova Scotia Bernhard provides strategies
that span the full spectrum of asset classes including equity, fixed income, cash liquidity, currency, real
estate, infrastructure, hedge funds and private equity. The main objective of this project is to provide
complete ETL process with variety of services like Data storage, Data Analysis, Data mart, Data
validation and Cleansing..etc. We collect OLTP data from various general source products (flat files).
The data is extracted from these flat files and transformed them as per the requirements given by
customer and loading into Staging tables, History tables and supporting tables at every batch run. We
are responsible for generating 50 flat file reports for CMB portfolio applications are having an impact
due to these flat file reports and 75 Cognos Reports like Recon Reports, Exception reports...etc.
Technical Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintained the daily OLTP data in Staging, Back up and Data Mart tables on daily
basis and provide the Cognos reports to the business users.
Converting the high level business proposal templates into ETL Mapping documents.
Written various complex Stored Procedures, functions, Packages for generating the Excel reports and
calling them through DS jobs using scripts.
Deal with major stages like Transformer, Lookup, Join, Oracle Enterprise, OBDC, Sequential file,
Dataset, Change capture, Filter, Remove duplicate, Sort, Join, Lookup and Merge stages are used as
most frequent stages for developing the jobs in the Datastage Designer 8.1 websphere.
Developed UNIX and Batch scripts to download the source files from GFTP server and load into ETL
servers and transform the data as per business documents and loading into Warehouse.
Collaborate with all developers and business users to gather required data and execute all ETL
programs and scripts on systems and implement all data warehouse activities and prepare reports for
same.
