Description CUNA Mutual group has engaged with TCSL to implement a Finance
Transformation program called Data Integration and Accounting Ledger (DIAL),
aimed at centralizing the accounting of financial transactions and extending the
nonfinancial data accessible to end users for analytics. DIAL is a multi-year program
with three phases, rooted in allowing the business to accurately and consistently
view customer behavior associated with transactions captured in the financial
statements.
The objective of the initial phase of DIAL program is:
• Re-design the Chart of Accounts.
• Improvise interim and year end closure processes.
• Optimizations of existing Business Processes in all the PeopleSoft
implemented modules i.e Accounts Payables, General Ledger, Purchasing.
• Implementation of Accounts Receivables (AR).
• Reconfiguration of existing business processes in GL based on new COA.
Responsibilities • Analysis of existing Expense Allocation process
• Understanding the Chart of Accounts structure and its impact on the
allocation process
• Identifying the accounting rules governing the allocation process
• Developing Proof of Concept of the allocation model for migration to
PeopleSoft.
• Building the data model for ODS and FDW as a part of finance
transformation
• Analysis for the implementation of Informatica as ETL as a part of Finance
transformation.
• Analysis of the SSIS batch jobs involved in the expense allocation process
• Analysis of Planning, Forecasting and budgeting process using the SAP
