2. Sam – the ‘cool’ one
Jason – the ‘nerd’
Rebecca – the ‘girly’ one
Lucy – the sporty ‘nerd’

3. The four friends will be together in a café or someone’s house where
they all appear to be cheery and laughing.
There will be non-diegetic music playing at this point which sounds
light hearted and is quite slow paced. Although, the volume of this will
be low as most importantly, we will get to hear the diegetic sounds of
the four friends conversing.
This scene will not last very long, almost 50 seconds so that the
audience understand that they are happy.
The screen will fade to black for approximately 1 second.

4. The screen will fade from black and we will get cut shots of each character in either
their rooms or somewhere else where they’re alone.
Sam: He will be sitting on a bench; he will take out a mirror, look into it and look
disgusted with what he says. He will write in his notebook that he is insecure.
Jason: He will be the nerd outside a library with a notebook where he has scribbled
all over it and we will get to see that he is suicidal and he hates the world.
Rebecca: She will be in her room where she is flicking through a magazine and
writes in her notebook that she hates the superficial world.
Lucy: She will be in her living room, she will be surrounded by folders and work and
she writes in her notebook that she is very stressed out and wants to run away.
This will last approximately for a minute.

5. This scene will be very short.
We will see the four characters walking into school quite
happily.
This will last approximately 5 seconds.
