Psalm 8 discusses how humanity is the focus of God's concern and creation. It notes that while God is infinitely greater than humanity, placing His glory above the heavens, He is also intimately involved in human lives. Though humanity is small compared to the vast universe, God thinks of people and visits them. Finally, the psalm says that God gave humanity a position just lower than angels and crowned them with glory and honor, putting all creation under their dominion, revealing their high purpose in God's plan.
