with many artists pivoting the way we
live and treat each other today the hip
hop genre is also powerful for the
words we use and the actions people
do so the word POWER encodes the
genre.
Genre:
Hip-Hop The hip hop genre is very interesting
and has someone messages and
stories behind it
Target
Audience:
Primary target audience – Hip-Hop
listeners Male ages 15-21
Secondary target audience – non hip
hop listeners aged 16-35
C2,D,E Income
Based on my survey I found out that
most of the people that answered the
questions were male and were at the
age of 15-21 I also believe that most
hip hop listeners are at that age and
are influenced by the genre at that age
so which is why I set my target age to
15-21 my secondary target audience it
16-35 whom are not hip hop listeners
because I want to extend the bracket
so I can get a huge circulation. The hip
hop genre appeals to people with low
income this is why I am appealing to
people with the C2,D,E income
Price:
£4.50 This is affordable for people who are
interesting into the hip hop genre.
Convergence: Social media
Youtube , Google plus
Magazines do not get noticed by
getting noticed from the shelves
therefore I have created a lot of social
media links so it can be known
Feedback from
primary
research will
act upon
My magazine will be more male
dominated than woman dominated as
the percentage of genders were more
male. My magazine will be more target
at teenagers and young adults as the
people who answered the question
were at that age bracket. The
magazine will have the celebrity
gossip, the new artists who are hot
right now ,the current hip hop
charters, the best clothes right now to
wear in the hip hop genre and fashion
advice.
My magazine was answered by my
target audience with high amount
responses because of this I wanted to
inflict their ideas to make sure my
magazine is best suited form them so
base d on their advice I will make sure
my magazine is best suited for them
therefore I will act on their feedback.
