Being a professionally dedicated Electrician, I claim specialization in Power Installation
and Preventive maintenance of Systems and Appliances. I have exposure in a
Manufacturing, processing,Oil and gas, Hotel and accommodationand Construction
Industry. I am able to troubleshootand repair up to a 415VAC powersystem,AC and
DC control systems.Motor Starters like DOL and Star Delta starters including switch
gears. Appliances Installation including Air Conditioners,electric water pumps,
distribution boards,control panels, water heaters, Kitchen and Laundry equipments,
power sockets and lighting systems.I have worked with successfuland disciplined
teams in the Kenyan based Companies like Kenya Petroleum Refineries ltd, Mombasa
Trade Center ltd. Alpha logistics ltd and African Skies ltd in Mogadishu Somalia. I was
also a volunteer at my local church in Mombasa, Kenya.
ACHIEVEMENTS
- Smooth operation of Security lights. Achieved by installing an automatic transfer
switch between solar power and Mains power supplies.It ensured automatic load
transfer to the Mains supply whenever solar power was weak.
- Helped to safeguard a desalination plant by preventing the suction pump from
running dry. This was achieved by installing an automatic pump control system for
the supply of raw water from a remote well to the plant’s reserve tank.
- Helped save the Company’s time space in a busy Hotel environment. This was
achieved by installing a complete automatic security lights system which
incorporated a Time switch. This eliminated frequent movements to and from a
remote manual switch hence time capitalization on clients’ queries.
- Eased the field Installation of portable water plants. This was achieved by
electrical modificationof the plants’ control circuits at the workshop before
transportation. It also saved time as well as making the operation easy for the
locals at the field.
