 Doing service after 250 hours as per our schedule of operation.
 Replacing broken spare and AVR adjusting voltages and frequency.
 In charge of standby Generators in the company yard and in oil rigs where company has
contract.
 Taking utility reading for this generators,
 Going round oil rigs observing their operations and also responding to break down.
 Replacing fuel pumps and solenoid and also feeder lift pumps.
 Changing module controls and configuring the readings.

TECHNICIAN IN OIL RIGS)
Duties and Responsibilities.
 Servicing Generators after 250 hrs of running
 Doing routine checks.
 Belts, battery alternator,
 Visual inspection of the engine as whole.
 Changing oil and oil filters
 Fuel filters
 Air filter or air cleaner
o Engine oil changing.
o Then general cleaning during service.
 Monitoring generator operation and taking utility readings.
 Blowing dust trap in the power alternator.
 Inspecting diesel and water pumps and pipes in case of any leak.
 Inspecting generator circuit breakers and supply breakers in case there is any arcing in the
terminal connections inclusive alternator terminal connections.
 Making sure no oil spillages or diesel doing proper housekeeping.
 Receiving diesel
 Cleaning of generator radiator making sure it free from any oil or dust trap for easy air
circulation during operation.
 Inspecting engine pistol and ring in case of wear tear which can cause sadden stop or bad
operation of the engine.
 Checking cable connection from generator to the supplying boards.
 Making sure all the synchronize generators are sharing load properly.
 HVAC Operations
 Cleaning evaporator and condenser fins removing all the blockages and inspecting if there is
leak.
 Working on window type and split units in the rigs and camps making sure they give proper
service during both summer and winter. Season of the year.
 Changing faulty fans and solenoid valve, also filter drier.
 Recharging the system with new Freon gas, also inspecting copper tubes in case of any leak.
 Changing broken compressor and recharging the system with new Freon gas, changing high
and low pressure switches when necessary.
 Inspecting food container if there is any air out let that can make cooling to be insufficient and
sealing if there is with sealant. ( reefer container)
 Keeping data for every machine for proper recording and easy follow up during breakdown or
for future references.
 Last and not least disposing used Freon gas using proper tools after every service or work in
conjunction with international law and rules without emitting it to the atmosphere keeping old
gas in the container meant for disposing it after evacuating it in the system
 OTHER DUTIES
 Doing service to all the machine in our location, water treatment plant a raw plant
 We treat water before supplying it to client room or wash rooms.
 Adding chlorine, antiscala , sodium nitrate
 Checking ph. making sure water does not contain any chemical which can affect human body,
by observing OSHO rules making it easy for us not to be affected by this chemicals during
water treatment.
 Servicing all the water pumps.
 During our operation we must observe health and safety rules we act as Hse officer when we
are working to minimize accidents, burns of oil spillages, we observed proper tools box talks
before starting any work.be it electrical, engine operation or service or working with Freon
because some of this gases are not environmental friendly.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
o Doing service to all the generators in the Cob Bravo, caterpillar, and Perkins marapco
perking Wilson, cumin, peter and leister engines, Kubota light and heavy generators.
o In charge of all the transportation reefer in the cob Basra, carrier oasis, thermo king ,
transit cold both engine driven and electrical for defacs and yards.
o Doing maintenance and repair for the hvac mechanic.
o Working on daily report for all the machine which was under my care ordering for
spares and making sure it delivered and fix and the right time without time wasting.

o Later before the end of the second year we had construction at DOS Basra elec-pads in
