9. Internet of things(iot)
• The Internet of Things (IoT) has already started to have
an impact on ‘everything’. It’s no surprise that it’s
starting to show up at the ‘workplace’.
• By 2020, the predicted 20 billion IoT devices will be
generating and sharing a massive amount of data.
• This is making CEOs and Human Resources Executives
to think how to incorporate IoT in HR to be part of the
full digitalization strategy.
10. People matters
• The IoT HR allows Human Resources
organizations to utilize the sensors, networks,
big data and analytics to revolutionize the way
they manage their information and greatly
increase the efficiency and productivity within
the enterprise.
11. People matters
• Human Resources organizations can harness
the Internet of Things (IoT) to get useful
information on potential employees, as well as
better manage their own performance.
12. People matters
• The goal of Human Resources organizations is
to use real-time data to optimize staff and
workflow management. HR will accomplish
this, changing their traditional system into IoT
oriented systems. As a result, the workplace
and enterprise functions have the potential to
become highly efficient.
13. iot
• IoT in HR has two different perspectives, the
first one is training to prepare the talent of
the company for the new knowledge and skills
needed in the new reality of IoT.
14. iot
• The second one is the use of IoT internally to
learn the behaviors of the talent in order to
define new strategies to improve talent
performance and productivity, and
profitability of the company.
15.
16. Iot in use
1. Mobile Phones and Tablets
Phones and the tablets are central hubs in IoT. The CEOs, CIOs
and HR executives need to have a clear and solid mobile and
digital culture to create new business processes or transform the
existing ones to collect the right data and measure the right
parameters in each process.
2. Health and fitness trackers
Talent health remains a key topic for human resources
organizations. Employees in good physical condition can perform
better and are more engaged. Anything a company can do to
contribute to the employee’s health is good for the organization.
17. Iot in use
3. Attendance and location trackers
Trackers can be used to track individual’s locations, positions
and movements. These devices can monitor alertness on the
job. One example is, trackers on truck drivers, the device can
scan for fatigue while driving and be alerted to prevent
accidents.
The combination of fitness and attendance trackers can tell a
Human Resources organization how many hours an employee
is working and if he / she is doing some type of physical
activity to relax and release stress. This information can help
HR organizations to advise employees on how to balance work
and fitness.

4. IoT HR – Recruitment
Companies will be in a position to improve the assessment of
candidates by placing them in virtual situations to test their
behavior.
IoT HR – Learning
The talent will be able to learn on a simulated environment
where they will be embedded performing the action related to
the training like assembling product part, extinguishing a fire,
driving a car, etc. Video, sensors and analytics will allow the
trainers to have a more accurate information on how the
employee is learning and make the necessary adjustments.
20. challenges
• If IoT applications have the power to fundamentally
alter how organizations measure and improve
themselves, they also bring challenges that companies
may not yet be equipped to handle.
• Experience shows that workers worry that their
employers may use personal monitoring against them.
• Research shows that almost 75 percent of employees
believe their employers are already capturing data
about them without their knowledge, so people are
suspicious and a little worried.

30. ponder
• Web 1.0 created the needed infrastructure and connected networks
and machines so that people can “receive” content and
information.
Web 2.0 created the needed social interactions so that people can
“create” content and information.
Nowadays we communicate together through social networks, but
some few big companies are controlling our social data.
We make financial transactions through many payment channels,
but banks are taking fees from us to use our own money.
How can Web 3.0 change the future of our online presence and give
the control back to what matters most “People”.
Let’s go through the journey of “Internet of People” and how this
vision can give people back a decentralized way to control our
information, money and day to day interactions.

32. Internet of people(iop)
Internet of People (IoP) is a new Internet
paradigm where humans and their personal
devices are not seen merely as end users of
applications, but become active elements of the
Internet.
33. iop
• Internet of People (IoP) represents the
mapping of social individuals and their
interactions with smart devices to the
Internet. It focuses on data collection,
modelling, and ubiquitous intelligence for a
wide range of applications of crowd sourced,
Internet-based personal information.
34. iop
• Likewise, the emerging social and sentiment
analysis computing, behaviour modelling and
novel human/environment interaction
mechanisms, e.g. brain, audible or augmented
reality computing, will allow further
incorporation of the social and mental worlds
into the so-called Hyper World.
35. iop
• Due to the pervasiveness of IoP and its
impacts on human activity, it has quickly
emerged as an important interdisciplinary
field which encompasses IoT, bio-inspired
algorithms with behavioral and social sciences
38. iot-iop
• In essence, IoP promotes the idea that a
Smart World is only possible if there is a
better and smarter collaboration bridging
machine intelligence and human intelligence,
between devices and people, where
technology (AI in particular) is applied from a
human-centric and driven standpoint, i.e.
following the Internet of People paradigm.

4. Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR)
This year – 2016 – was the year when both VR and AR were released
upon the general population. This IoT technology will revolutionize
what Human Resource organizations can do in different HR areas. For
example:
IoT HR – Recruitment
Companies will be in a position to improve the assessment of
candidates by placing them in virtual situations to test their behavior.
IoT HR – Learning
The talent will be able to learn on a simulated environment where
they will be embedded performing the action related to the training
