It was a beautiful fall at the headwaters of the Mississippi river. Itasca state park was visited by a
mother and daughter on MEA break. On their trip to Itasca state park they visited miniature towns

saw two Trumpeter Swans swimming in a glass lake. Orange fir trees stood surrounding a nearby

This section begins by determining the significance of city parks followed by an analysis of the state
of city parks in Egypt. The literature will also discuss whether or not the landscape is appropriate for
city park development. Wolch, Byrne and Newell (2014) note that the world's cities are
progressively becoming populated and urban green space provide a variety of ecosystem services
that could assist counter social ill and enhance the life of city dwellers. City parks are know to have
several effects on the populace the major one being psychological, social, educational and
environmental.
Psychological
The psychological effect of green parks is generally regarded as having overall health benefits on an
individual. Mounting body of research indicates that mere contact with the natural environment
enhances bodily and psychological health. One such study conducted by Marron on surgical patients
in hospital facilities confirmed their quick recovery (2013). The research, taking a span of ten years,
involved putting stand of trees in some of the rooms, while other rooms had beige brick walls with
no trees. The findings showed that patients who were subjected to trees and an open view to a green
space outside the widows spent less period in the hospitals, had less need for the pain killers and
wrote less negative feedback to their nurses compared patient in the brick wall rooms (Marron,

The Porcupine Mountains are known for having vast distributions of outcrops of various rock types.
The bedrock is exposed mostly because of thin or absent glacial drift as well as extensive mining
operations that are scattered along the Lake Superior shore. Much of the bedrock in the park is older

Garner State Park Research Paper
I first went to Garner State Park when I was thirteen years of age, I had never heard of that place
before, but my neighbors from across the street had invited me for the weekend. Ever since I visited,
it became one of my favorite places to attend to; I have yet to find someone who doesn't find that
park beautiful. I did a vast number of things which were all genuinely enjoyable; everything was
done at the perfect time from the early morning till sunset.
Generally, I arrive there at four in the morning, frogs croaking and fireflies dim in the distance, the
sun is still hours from rising but I am ready to take on the day. Sure enough the sun is out and we get
ready to go in; as I unload I can't help but look around and admire all the beauty that surrounds me.

The sweat in my head starts to run down to the corner of my eye and I immediately start thinking of
a single thing, the ice cold Frio River, I suggested to my friend that we should start heading towards
it so we did. By submerging in the water, my nervous system instantly reacted to the temperature but

You may be looking for the perfect spot for a summer vacation for your family. If so, Arkansas has
fifty–two state parks that offer a variety of recreation and entertainment options. These state parks
play a vital role in the historical education of our great state. A few of the options include; visiting a
