COMPARATIVE FORM
It is used to compare two people, things and
places.
SUPERLATIVE FORM
It is used to compare a person, a thing or
place with the whole group they belong to.

6. EXPLANATION
We use the comparative form with
adjectives
EXAMPLE:
Lisa is more intelligent than Bart
Lisa is sweeter than Bart
7. HOW TO FORM A COMPARATIVE
- One syllable adjectives: we add
Eg. Tall
ER
Taller
- With two or more syllables:we add MORE
Eg. Intelligent More intelligent

9. EXPLANATION
We use the superlative form with adjectives
EXAMPLE:
New York is the biggest city in The USA
This village is the most peaceful area .
10. HOW TO FORM A SUPERLATIVE
- One syllable adjectives: we add EST
Eg. Large the largest
- With two or more syllables: we add THE
MOST
Eg. polluted the most polluted
