scheduled for this Friday morning at Holland Hospital and
pray for wisdom for the doctors;
t for healing for Shirley Jacobs who was in Holland
Hospital last week due to a bladder infection that spread
to her bloodstream;
t for continued prayers for John Feyereisen’s cancer
progression to stop as his latest MRI showed slight
growth. Praise the Lord that he is doing good so far
with the increased seizure meds;
t for Tobin Crook to feel better and better each day as
his body adjusts to no more cancer treatments;
t for continued healing and regaining of strength for
Al Tennant;
t for our homebound including Ray Reidsma & Ida Mae
TerBeek;
t for comfort and hope for the widows, lonely and
depressed as the holiday season approaches;

PUERTO RICO HELP!
THANK YOU TO DOUG DIBKEY, PAUL RUSSCHER, DON DEJONGE AND
ANDREW ZANDSTRA for signing up to go to Puerto Rico to help rebuild facilities at
Camp Caribe which was hit hard by the hurricane. This project is in conjunction with
Grace Ministries International (GMI). The team will be going December 5-13.
TODAY WE WILL BE COLLECTING MONETARY DONATIONS TO HELP
REBUILD THE CAMP. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN GIVING, PLEASE MARK
YOUR DONATION FOR “PUERTO RICO” AND PUT IT IN THE OFFERING PLATE
THIS MORNING.
FOOD DONATIONS FOR RETREAT:
If you would be willing to help out with food for the youth Avalanche Bay
Retreat, please sign up at the Youth Counter indicating what you can
provide. Drop off the food in the Youth Room behind the LIGHTS
counter no later than noon this Friday. Thanks!
YOUTH RETREAT!
All Parkside Jr. & Sr. High youth are invited to an Avalanche Bay Indoor
Water Park Retreat at Boyne Mountain Resort this weekend, Nov. 17-19
with youth from Grace Bible Fellowship and Celebration Bible Church!
The cost is $60 and includes transportation, motel, all food and water
park entrance. Sign up at the Youth Counter. We’ll be meeting at the
church at 3:45 on Friday and returning by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

SUNDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY Please join us tonight as we study the Pentateuch
(the first 5 books of the Bible) in the board room from 6:15-7:15 p.m. Childcare is
available for birth-age 3. Questions, see Pastor Joe.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY Our Women’s Bible Study “A Woman of Excellence” will be
meeting this Thursday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Board Room. There will be no study
on Thanksgiving and the last study will be held on November 30.
ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR Don’t forget about the Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair this Saturday
at Parkside from 9:00-3:00 p.m. We have 75 vendors with all-handcrafted items. If you
can provide a bake sale item, please drop it off at the church by 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
L.I.F.T. EVENT Before the busy holiday season starts, come and enjoy a fun and
relaxing night out at Parkside! Ladies In Fellowship Together are hosting a BUNKO
night next Wednesday, November 15, in the Youth Room at 6:30 p.m. In addition to
playing BUNKO, we will hear encouraging words from Trudy Feyereisen and enjoy
Thanksgiving treats. Please sign up at the Women’s Ministry Counter today. If you have
questions, see Jana Van Enk or give her a call at 616-791-7282. (If you don’t know how
to play BUNKO, don’t worry-it’s very easy to learn!)
SUPER SENIORS The Super Seniors will meet at noon on Wednesday, November 29,
for a soup and salad lunch in the fellowship area. There will be a hymn sing following
lunch. Everything will be provided so just bring your appetite and a favorite hymn
choice. There is a sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center. Questions...talk to Rod

ALL CHURCH LUNCHEON Family Bible Hour will be sponsoring a lunch following the
morning service on December 3. It will be a soup, salad and potato bar with dessert. All
are invited. Come and fellowship while getting to know some of the Family Bible Hour
teachers and participants!
LADIES DINNER & GAME NIGHT Please plan to join the church ladies & friends for
our annual Christmas Potluck Bingo Party on Friday, December 8, at 5:30 p.m. in the
Fellowship Hall at Parkside. Bring a dish to pass and two gifts of at least $5 value each.
Sign up at the Women’s Ministry Counter. It’s going to be a fun evening!!!
YOUNG FAMILIES BRUNCH Mark your calendars! On December 9th from 10 a.m. to
Noon we will be having a Young(ish) Families Christmas Brunch Extravaganza!! The
whole family is invited. Food will be provided and there will be Christmas cookie
decorating, Christmas Bingo (with prizes) and a devotional. Make sure to be there for

Our 9th Annual Arts & Crafts Fair at Parkside will be held this
Saturday! As part of the event, we hold a BAKE SALE with all
proceeds going to Youth Outreach and Missions. Can you help
out by providing baked items such as cookies, brownies, breads,
cupcakes, pies, gluten free and sugar free items, etc.? Please
complete the tear-off at the bottom of this insert and put
it in the offering plate TODAY or give it to Diane Cartwright
or Judy Timmer. Items must be dropped off at the church
by 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17.
ALSO:
Can you help us advertise by posting a flyer at your work place or
any busy location? Could you pass out small flyers to your friends?
You can pick up the flyers or small handouts from the table in the
Fellowship Hall today.
Also if you could post the craft fair information on Facebook and
Twitter and email your friends, that would be GREAT! Details are
on the flyers. Please plan to attend and invite your friends, family
and neighbors! This is a great outreach for Parkside.

CHURCH PANTRY
For the month of November, we’re collecting Thanksgiving and Holiday
items for our food pantry….cranberries, stuffing, bread mixes, etc. Items
can be put in the pantry box located next to the Women’s Ministry Counter.

Parkside will be hosting “Family Dinner Night” tonight, 11/12, in the
Family Life Center before Warrior Bible Club from 5:00 - 5:40 p.m.
The menu is baked spaghetti, garlic bread, homemade applesauce,
