This document outlines a mathematics teaching plan focusing on critical teaching skills for attention. It includes examples of convergent and divergent questions, Bloom's Taxonomy questions, and example questions that follow guidelines for planning and delivering questions - including being clear, using appropriate vocabulary, allowing thinking time, providing feedback, and involving students. The plan aims to engage students through effective questioning techniques.

2. Critical Teaching Skills for Focusing Attention (Group Works)
1. Give examples three convergen and three divergen questions
based on this video :
Answer :
a. Convergent question
1. What is the formula of the volume of rectangular parallel
piped , cylinder and right triangular prism?
2. What kind of plane that built rectangular parallel piped ,
cylinder and right triangular prism?
3. What is the area formula of each side that build rectangular
parallel piped , cylinder and right triangular prism?
b. Divergen questions
1. how to find the formula of the surface area of rectangular
parallel piped , cylinder and right triangular prism?
2. What is the defiition of the rectangular parallel piped ,
cylinder and right triangular prism base that video?
3. How to make the sketch of rectangular parallel piped ,
cylinder and right triangular prism base that video? What is
the first step that you must did?
2. Give one example question for each level of Bloom's Taxonomy
based on this video
Answer :
1. Knowledge
Mention the theorem of parallelogram base opposite
angle, diagonals and opposite side?
2. Comprehension
Please explain, why and are parallel?
1
3. 3. Application
D C
300
B
A
Based on the video that you have learned, let <BAC =
30Ëš, Determine the measure <ACB ?
4. Analysis
If we zoom in <A ,so how about the opposite angle , is
it still congruent ? (if we want still make a
parallellogram). please explain!
5. Synthesis
why opposite angles of a parallelogram are congruent ?
6. Evaluation
Please chose the picture bellow which has the
parallelogram form?
3. Give one example question for each guideline for planning dan
delivering questions based on this video :
Answer :
a. Be clear and concise
what is linear equation in two variables?
2
4. b. Use vocabulary that is appropriate for the age and ability of the
students.
Before we concetrate on solve linear equation, lets
recall What means linear question exactly are? ... rather
than I know that you are still understand about linear
question, so what is your interpretation of the linear
equation verbalization that have you catch in your
brain?
c. Plan question that are short enough for students to remember.
what are some of the ways we can solve linear equation
in two variable?
d. Follow questions with time for students to think (see wait-
time 1 and 2 below).
wait time 1 : teacher give an story equation. How to
write sum of price of 2 candies and 2 chocolate is 3.000
dollars and sum of price of 3 candies and 5 chocolate is
6.500 dollars with using linear equation ( in here , this
example teacher provide student with 5-10 second after
asking equation)
Wait time 2 : from the linear equation that have been
created, find the price of candy and chocolate with
linear equation.
e. Follow questions with redirections, prompting and probing
as necessary.
solve this linear equation bellow! use addition or subtition
method to find the value of x and y!
2x-y = 9
3x + 4y =-14
f. Follow questions with honest feedback.

5. Teacher ask students to mention some example from the
linear equation in two variable form and teacher give the
respond (acknowledge / praised if students give the
correct answer or give the corrected answer for the
incorrect answer that students given)
g. When you ask questions of your students, your goal should be to
involve as many of them as possible
Teacher give an story question for example :
Mother bought 3 kg mangoes and 2 kg oranges for 44.000
dollars in the first shop, and she bought 2 kg mangoes and
5 kg oranges in the second shop for 55.000 dollars. What is
the price of 1 kg mangoes and 1 kg oranges?
(In this question, the goal is include for the answer in this
question, because to find the price of 1 kg mangoes and 1
kg oranges, we must use the linear equation two
variable.)
h. Avoid ridiculous questions like asking a group of school
children from Seattle
Do you know, why we must use x and y as variable in the
linear equation two variable?
(It’s a question that we must avoid, because this is not an
useful question to achive the goals and of course we
mustn’t use x and y as variable in the linear equation two
variable
