• Pump that moves the blood around the
body
• It is a muscular organ.
• It is made of 4 chambers(rooms).
4. Pulse
• Is a measure of how fast your heart is beating (It is the
number of beats your heart makes in one minute)
• N.B The heart beats faster or slower depending on what
we are doing.
5. How can we measure
pulse?
• You can feel your pulse at certain points on your body .
The easiest pace to feel it is in your wrist :
• 1)Use the first two fingers of your other hand.
• 2)Count the number of beats your heart makes in one
minute.

about 80 beats/min.

• Instrument used by doctors to listen to noises in
our chest
( It funnels the sound into the ears and cuts out
other noises)
