promoting specific behaviors,
such as increased physical
activity and increased fruit and
vegetable consumption, which are
associated with lower risk of

the binary outcome of intention to
breastfeed for pregnant women and
ever breastfed for post-partum
women. Multiple logistic regression
models were used to assess the
association of a priori exposures of
interest and breastfeeding.

single rising parents that are the

3. Breastfeeding an Infant
In the world of health the organization [WHO]
recommends mothers exclusively breastfeeding infants
for their six months to archive optimal growth,
development and health. Around the world Disparities in
breastfeeding also exist within racial groups.
Cultural backgrounds has identified as a possible
explanation for the differences seen within racial groups
based on an individual’s cultural environment. The trends
and beliefs of culture tend to influence the decision to
breastfeed.
However in many poor parts of the world where water is
not clean food may scarce and formula expensive,
breastfeed can make a critical difference in children’s
health well-being and life experience.
In my own experience I breastfeed my three children and
the three of them are healthy and strongest.

5. Taking or not taking…
Individualist Collectivist
Baby will eat when they are
hungry.
The parents don’t face the
problem of urging their
children to eat. However they
face the food to offer.
Children may not have
enough amount for their
body.
Malnutrition may effect the
children.
Parents , teachers and
caregivers urge or force
children to eat.
The parents worry is the
amount of food get into their
children.
The way of hungry may not
the same as developing
children.
The baby may become
dehydrated and end up in the
hospital.
6. Taking responsibility for
the amount that a child eats
Conflict between taking or not taking
responsibility for how much children eat.
Many cultures value healthy children are
more attractive and desirable than a child
that doesn’t look healthy.

INDIVIDUALISTS COLLECTIVISTS
Encourage children to do
things on their own.They
focus on making children
feel like special individuals.
They teach children at a
young age so that they
don’t have to depend on
adults
They believe in firmly
attaching the child to the
group.Collectivists aim for
interdependence.They
feed them longer than
individualists and also put
their coats on and even zip
it for them.
9. Is it that important to issue about it when
right or wrong.
If that gets to the point let it go and look at
the parents perspective.
Help the parent articulate his or her goals.
when the parent comes to understanding
that their with or without your effects on that
matter if the issue is that they come up with a
solutions for there own better being.
