Periuk Ajaib
Kisah Moral untuk Golongan Muda
2
Once upon a time there lived a farmer in a village.
He used to go to his farm daily and do his farming work.
One day, he was digging in the farm to prepare it to sow the seeds
for the coming monsoon.
All of a sudden, he found a big pot in the farm.
3
He took the pot out and he wondered what that pot would be useful
for. So, he just kept that pot aside and started his usual work again.
During the lunch time, he kept his spade in that pot while he was
eating.
When the farmer finished his lunch, he saw to his great surprise that
his spade had multiplied to 50 spades in that pot.
4
He was really surprised. He thought to himself, “Oh! I did not
bring 50 spades. I just brought only 1 spade. How come 1
spade has become 50 spades. I don't understand.”
Then he thought, “This must be something to do with the pot.”
So, he removed the 50 spades from the pot.
Sungguh dia terkejut. Dia berfikir dalam hati, “Oh! Saya tidak
membawa 50 penyodok. Saya cuma bawa 1 penyodok sahaja.
Macam mana 1 penyodok dah jadi 50 penyodok.
5
He then picked up a stone near him and put that stone in that pot.
Wow! When he looked inside the pot, instead of that single stone,
there were 50 stones in the pot.
That was when he realized that the pot was a magical pot!
So, he brought the pot back home and kept it in a locked cupboard.
Dia kemudian mengambil batu berhampirannya dan meletakkan batu
itu ke dalam periuk itu. Wah!
6
From that day on he used the pot to meet his needs for his simple
life.
Whenever he wanted some cloth, he would put a piece of cloth
and he would get enough cloth for him to make his clothes.
Whenever he was hungry, he would put a fruit in that pot and he
would get 50 fruits back from the pot.
7
He would give some of the things he got to his friends and sell the extra in the
market. That way, gradually he started becoming rich.
But that farmer was very honest. He never used the magic of the pot for
satisfying his greed. He was not a greedy farmer!
However, one day his neighbor noticed that this farmer was getting richer. He
had new clothes and would help the poor with food.
makanan.
Jealous
Neighbor
8
The neighbor tried to find out the secret of the farmer getting richer.
One day, the farmer’s neighbor stood outside his window peeping into the
house of this farmer to find out what this farmer was doing. During this
time, the farmer was putting a little milk into the magic pot. And behold!
The farmer managed to pour out from the pot 50 times the volume of the
milk he put into the pot!
9
“Hmmm! Now I understand,” the neighbor thought to himself. “I see, this
magic pot is making the farmer richer and richer, getting what he wants.”
This wicked neighbor, jealous of the farmer, decided to steal this pot from
this farmer.
That night itself when the farmer was asleep, the wicked neighbor broke
into the farmer’s house and stole the magic pot.
“Hmmm! Sekarang saya faham,” jiran itu berfikir sendiri. "Saya lihat,
10
He took it back to his own house. The wicked neighbor was very eager to
find out the secret working of the magic pot. He wanted to find out if there
was anything inside the magic pot.
So, he put his hand into the pot but obviously there was nothing in the
pot. To his great shock, when he took out his hand from the pot, he
realized that now he had 50 hands attached to his body.
Dia bawa periuk pulang ke rumahnya sendiri. Jiran yang jahat itu
sangat ingin mengetahui kerja rahsia periuk ajaib itu. Dia ingin
Terkejutnya, apabila dia mengeluarkan
tangannya dari periuk, dia menyedari bahawa kini dia mempunyai 50
tangan yang melekat pada tubuhnya.
11
And now he was really scared because he did not know how to make his
50 hands on one side of his body go back to 1 normal hand again. He
looked weird and awful.
The next day when he came out of his house, the people who saw him,
were really scared at the sight. They thought that he was some kind of
demon with so many hands on one side and one hand on the other.
12
The villagers started stoning him and they drove him away from the
village.
When the honest farmer saw all this happening, he realized that the
neighbor must have stolen the pot from him and must have put his
hands into it. He got back his pot. The honest farmer lived peacefully
ever after. The wicked neighbor had to live a miserable life, shunned
by all people.
Dia mendapat kembali periuknya. Petani yang jujur
hidup aman selama-lamanya. Jiran yang jahat itu terpaksa menjalani
kehidupan yang sengsara, dijauhi oleh semua orang.
