• How simulation can motivate students?
o provides students learning-based experience
o information-rich environment
o working in the risk-free but practical environment
(Zulfiqar et al , 2018)
• How simulation can predict data?
o trough predictive analytics
o technique: data mining ( collect, extract, store)

Assalamualaikum w.b.t. I’m Nurul Huda bt Ab Mutalib. My topic today will be about; Transformation and Data Analysis using “isee systems”.
As you can see from the slide, transformation on this topic is under genetic topic. It’s about the process by which genetic information is transferred from one bacterium to another.
The HOME tab in “isee system” is where we give brief explaination about what our topic is. We should make it short, informative but simple. Here it is explained that Frederick Grifftih was the one to discover such phenomenon which then led to another experiment that further support the discovery.
In BACKGROUND tab, more detailed information is given. It explains the theory of Griffith experiment with the rough strain bacteria and the smooth strain bacteria. It is shown from the experiment that DNA was the molecule that transform the rough strain bacteria which caused the mouse to die.
The 3rd tab which is the EXPLORE THE MODEL tab is a another way to explain the transformation of the bacteria. Here it can be explained that the ampicillin non-resistant E. coli that undergo transformation by heat killed ampicillin resistant (amp-R) bacteria transforms into ampicillin resistant E. coli.
Okay, let’s start with the simulation. Here is the default settings where nothing added to the growth media yet.
