Most consumers’ curiosity about a product peaks the
first time they see it, whether it is on a store shelf, in a
magazine or somewhere else.
It is at this point the decision to buy or not is made.
The packaging plays a vital role in this and the designs for the Slange
Var packaging definitely catch the eye and stand out. However, with
veganism, vegetarianism, environmentalism and other factors
becoming increasingly important to consumers, there is barely
enough room on labels to provide the information that consumers
really want.
In the case of Slange Var:
1. What is the product and why is it special?
2. What does it taste like?
3. How is made and what is in it?
4. Does it contain nuts, or other ingredients that don’t fit particular
consumer preferences?
5. Has it won any awards and what are its reviews like?
6. What is the story behind the brand and the product?
7. What’s the best way to drink it?
By using our own QR code format as part of the packaging, we are
able to answer all of the questions above instantly. It also enables
Slange Var create calls to action that further encourage consumers to
engage.

Serialising products and using machine readable
codes (QR, NFC and others) turns virtually anything
into a portal that gives consumers to access Slange
Var’s content on the platform.
We are working with Slange Var to create a network of signposts that
make it easy for consumers to access information about Slange Var
and the causes the brand supports with the help of its customers.
The reality is simple. Modern consumers are a very different group
with very different expectations, as the graphic on the page opposite
indicates. As a result, the limited amount of information available on a
label is no longer enough.
The work we are doing with Slange Var is designed around the way
that modern consumers think and behave, giving them the
information they want, instantly in a format that they understand and
value.
In essence, we blend the real world with the digital world to deliver
what the consumer wants in order to help Slange Var achieve the
success it deserves.
