founded by Mark Zuckerberg. Initially, it
was a social website for Harvard
university students, but now it's open to
anyone with an e-mail address. In July
2010 facebook had 500 million
members and was translated in 70
languages.
Thanks to social networks, it is possible to
get in contact with people who in everyday
life could not be accessed. You can
establish relationship with people from
different sectors and countries. Professional
networks are a good tool to establish
business contacts and to find job
opportunities, too. Besides, you meet all
kinds of people with whom you can do a lot
of things.
